Hello Ladies!

Again nothing new here! My nausea has finally let up and I went from beyond tired to being awake all night. I definetly miss being sleepy. 2 weeks til we see our baby again. lol I feel like my life is just a big countdown.

QOTW: I absolutely want my baby to have my H's sense of humor. I love laughter and my H is a kid at heart and I hope the baby embraces being so happy no matter what is going on in life. On the other hand I'm praying the baby doesn't pick up his sleep habits. DH and his father both are grumpy if they don't slowly wake up in the morning and nothing is more important then their sleep. I'm a wake up and go on 3 hours of sleep kinda person so I pray I won't have to fight with 2 people to wake up and get outta bed every morning lol

Hello. I just got back from my second ulrasound and was able to see the yolk sac! Still no heart beat but they said we should hear it for sure next week. I have not had many symptoms other than being very tired all the time, so I hope that continues not looking forward to morning sickness.

QOTW: I hope they get his caring nature. He is so caring and giving. I hope they don't get his sense of direction. I swear he can get lost going anywhere, no matter how many times he has been somewhere.

12 weeks yesterday. The nausea has subsided some, but the food aversions are still fierce. I hate all the foods. And I have a terrible sinus infection. So I'm pretty miserable.
I hope LO has MH's patience and outgoing nature. I honestly can't think I anything I wouldn't want LO to get from mh. Tons of things from me! But not him.

Happy Friday!
My nausea and vomiting has really struck with a vengeance and I was almost non-functional at work the past two days. Today I am working a later shift and it doesn't seem too bad yet but I am afraid to relax and move around a ton for fear it will come rushing back. Otherwise, no real update. I see my OB for the first time next Tuesday

QOTW: 
My H is outgoing and I am definitely not. I have a harder time becoming close friends with people, or reaching out when I need something, and I really have to push myself to make small talk with people. H does all of those things with ease and I hope our kids will too.
On the flip side, he is terrible at procrastinating at stuff and it drives me crazy. I still procrastinate to a degree (don't we all?) but not excessively and I really am working on it. I hope our kids are more like me in that respect.

Well, I've got 2 nuggets here! Growing great, still struggling with SCH. Just praying it resolves. Nausea is here, oh joy! I am laying down in my car during lunch break right now. Just have to get through the day.

QOTW: my DH is brilliant and things come easy to him. So I hope the babies get his brain!

I'm feeling positive right now so I am going to make this my first check-in.

I am 4 weeks today and had my first beta yesterday.  It was a little low at 14.6, but for now I am pregnant.  My second beta is on Monday, so I am keeping my FX for doubling betas.  I'll also be obsessively POAS this weekend to calm my nerves.

My EDD is 7/11/2014 and more than likely only have 1 bean since we did a SET, but I guess we won't know for certain until our first u/s. 

ETA: QOTW- I hope that our children are more laid back like DH, I tend to get stressed out and over plan things.  I am not a go with the flow type person, definitely a control freak.   I hope they don't get DH's spelling/grammar skills.  Sometimes reading his texts are like deciphering a code.

Oh, @Twinkie0612, I'm so happy for you!  FX for great doubling betas!!!

I just got back from my 12 week NT scan this morning, everything looks great.  They said my babies have the same risk of chromosomal abnormalities as if I was only 20 - ha!  So, like a 1 in 7,000 chance.  Baby A was laying on his/her face and gave us such a hard time - the tech was jiggling my belly trying to get them to move - took over an hour for a 10 minute scan!!!  Baby B was just dancing all over the place - and they were both sucking thumbs and such - melts my heart!!!  Oh, and I've lost almost 10 lbs this first tri from nausea, so I TOTALLY know what many of you are going through.  With the help of Zofran and easing into 2nd tri next week, I'm starting to get my appetite back.  So, this whole weight loss thing is not gonna last.  

QOTW: Hmm, I also hope babies get my hubby's laid-back personality and great sense of humor.  I'm a little high-strung at times, but it helps in my line of work.  I wouldn't want them to inherit his taste in music.  I'm also a classically trained pianist/vocalist, and he's into Hendrix and AC/DC - I married an electric guitar player - LOL!!  *Or his taste in junk food.  I want my babies to like salad!!

We had ultrasound on Tuesday and found one little flickering heart beat!  We go back in on Monday to make sure it's getting stronger.  Seeing one was such a relief.  I think DH was going to faint in the U/S when trying to find the HB on the ultrasound.  

QOTW: I hope that LO gets my husband's handsome heartshaped lips and my green eyes & nose.  I doubt the LO will look much like me though...My DH has dark black/brown hair, brown eyes, dark olive skin tone and wide nose.  I'm blonde with green eyes and burn easily...

Updates: We graduated from the RE yesterday.  Exciting and sad at the same time.  I am really missing the weekly ultrasounds.  Next appointment isn't until NT scan at 12 weeks.  I am really suffering from morning {all day} sickness.  Zofran is helping on some days not much on others.  

QOTW: I would love for the baby to get my husband's laid back sense of life.  I am a type A personality and love that my husband can let things just slide (there are times I want to kill him for this too).  I would love for the baby to get my athletics.  I loved sports and was quite good at a few of them.  My husband {bless his heart} is the most uncoordinated person I have met when it comes to sports.  It is really funny to watch him try.

Nothing new here. Nausea still here full force. I get weird cravings eat just to get sick again. Get to see my little bean next week.

Would love for L/O to get DH brains he's pretty bright and not to get his lack of patience.

We just had our first ultrasound this morning and saw two little heartbeats happily flickering away! We are in love already! Morning sickness hit me full force starting 5wk, 5 day and it really sucks. I am sorry to all the other girls going through it right now. Yuck. Other than that, I'm just wiped out and taking it easy. I'm actually about to go take a nap, lol.

QOTD: I hope they get his damn near photographic memory, passion for learning and love for all things creative. I hope they don't get his lousy story telling skills, lol. Sometimes he kills me, just spit it out man!

Hi ladies!
All is well here, I suppose. We had a scare yesterday and all looked great. I actually just started bleeding again :::sigh::: guess this is something I'm just going to have to deal with. I am really hoping we can start to pick up the HB on the Doppler soon to calm my nerves, especially since the bleeding seems to be sticking around for a while.

QOTW: I hope lo gets DH's care free side. Not too much bothers him and he really just likes to relax and have fun. Now, I hope LO doesn't get his decisiveness. Once a decision has been made, by himself or anyone else, it's the law. There is no room for change in opinion or plans once it has been set.

I'm still here!  9w1d today.  This is the furthest I have ever made it so I am really happy about that.  This is also the only pregnancy I've had so far where I haven't had any bleeding so I am taking that as a good sign. Another milestone for me was making it out of the month of October.  Somehow we have managed to get pregnant every September for the last three years (weird isn't it?), but October always brought a miscarriage.  So I am glad I finally made it to November!  Woo hoo!

I am feeling pretty relieved but the worry hasn't gone away.  I have already outgrown almost all of my winter clothes (I've been gaining weight for a while, even before getting KU) but I'm scared to buy anything maternity yet.  I plan to go to Target and buy some cheap clothes to hold me over for a few weeks.  Since Thursday I started getting a tad nauseous in the mornings, but once I eat breakfast I'm fine. I am usually up for 2 hours before I eat breakfast so I'll just have to squeeze it in earlier now.  Next appt is Wednesday with my RE, where I will hopefully graduate. Sorry for the novel, felt like I had a lot to share this week!

QOTW: I hope a future LO gets DH's sense of humor, athleticism and willingness to try new things.  I hope LO does not get his hoarding tendencies, or his messiness.  He really does not care about things being clean. It's gross and frustrating since all the house cleaning falls on me!

@letsgobowlingx I have liquid aversions too!  I can not bring myself to drink water anymore! I know it's terrible so I've been trying to add some juice to it to jazz it up a little.

Hey everyone! It was another fun week in the pregnancy for me. We started sharing with friends and it was so cool. I also began telling folks at my work. I work at a school so I began by telling my principal but then I began sharing with other coworkers. Everyone's joy was just really overwhelming and so kind. I love seeing how much this baby is loved already - it helps make it all more real. This coming Wednesday I'm really hoping we will get to hear the heartbeat at my 2nd prenatal appointment with my midwife. We couldn't hear it at 11w4d because the baby was positioned too far from my belly for the doppler to pick it up at that moment. Baby was also behind my big arteries and so my heartbeat was blocking out baby. I really want to hear it, so DH and I are going back this Wednesday, just 2 weeks after my first prenatal. I need that reassurance, and I'm trying to avoid wanting to buy a doppler myself. 

I turned the corner on my nausea this week. I cooked and actually MADE food for the first time in 2 months. I could stomach the food prep, and I wasn't starving the entire week (when starving, I just go straight to feeling nauseated). But these past three days were better! My stomach growled, telling me I was hungry, but I didn't immediately feel like throwing up. That was awesome and hasn't happened in months. 

@Whoberry, I'm so happy that you made it past your milestone! 

I hope our baby gets my curly hair, DH's musical abilities, my creativity, and both of our organizational abilities and comfort with thinking hard through a problem. I also hope our baby brings a sense of fun to our family that we really need - sometimes DH and I can be too serious!

6wk3days today, and feeling good so far.  Occasional nausea, but thankfully no morning sickness yet.  Lots of fatigue, though.  Two more weeks until we get to hear the twins' heartbeats - really hoping they're both doing well!  

QOTD:  I hope they get DH's green eyes and outgoing nature (I'm much more quiet).  But, I hope they don't get DH's obsession with collecting things - it's really hard for him to part with stuff (which is why he has 3 closets worth of clothes and I only have 1!).  Our house just isn't big enough for any more stuff!!

12w6d today and just realized I can't count....last week I said I only had one more check in but NOW I only have one more check in. So strange to think I'm almost at 2nd tri....AHHHh!!!!  Not much new around here. I put off scheduling the NT scan too long so I didn't have it done. I have my 2nd OB appointment on Tuesday that I'm excited about! Other than that....counting down days until our early anatomy scan which is 3 weeks from today!

 

QOTD: I hope baby gets DH's eyes and hair color and his love of useless knowledge....but not his inability to put twist ties back on bread LOL.  I hope from me baby gets my love and talent for music and sense of humor....but not my stubborn and passive aggressive tendencies. Its totally fine for me to be a "b" but good lord if I have a mini-me the world is in trouble!

9wks3dys and still soo sick. My stomach hurts and the nausea is fierce. I, too, can't drink water. It is weird but it makes me so sick to my stomach. I also now realize I am constipated (TMI), not completely, but just little by little over time, I have tried three days of laxatives with very little results and my stomach is so hard! They couldn't even see my babies through my stomach so had to go vaginally again Bc of my full bowels (again, tmi). Will call doc in the morning. So miserable, but can't wait till I feel better and can focus on my little ones!

We had our first ultrasound and it's one sticky bean! It's measuring smaller though and is lower in the uterus than the RE would like. So, I'm awaiting the results of another hcg.

Hi ladies!  I know I'm late, but it's been a busy past few days.  On Thursday we got to hear our little bean's heartbeat, and it was such a relief after the bleed an being paranoid for 8 days between ultrasounds.  We'll have our 3rd this Thursday, and I'm so looking forward to it - just hoping and praying that little bean is growing stronger and chugging along nicely.  *knock on wood* but I really don't have many symptoms yet other than sore boobs, but even that's not bad.  I do get full really quickly, to the point where I have to spit food out because I simply can't possible fit anything else in my stomach. I guess I shouldn't complain, but at least more symptoms would be reassuring that I'm pregnant.  I have had bouts of fatigue, but again, it's really not bad.

QOTW: I would love for LO to have DH's selflessness, but certainly not his tendency to overreact to everything.

Hello!

I am at 12 weeks and 4 days and starting to feel pretty good!  I still am bloated looking!  Last week was my last appt with RE, and Wednesday I get to meet my OB, so hopefully that goes well.  Went to a wedding in New Orleans this weekend and got to be designated driver, which is less than fun, but I am so happy to be pregnant I don't mind not drinking!

I love this question!  I hope my child gets my hubby's confidence and athletic ability!
