  • I felt like I was going bald for 2ish months after DS was born.  It's totally normal, tons of women experience it.

  • After my DD, I had it bad around 3 months pp. This time, I am still awaiting for it to happen, but I'm only 6 weeks PP. :(

  • I also have been losing a ton :( especially in the shower and brushing after showering. My hair is also more dry. Hoping things will go back to normal in a few weeks. Are you still taking your prenatal vitamin?
  • It's hormones. While pregnant, your body holds on to more hair and then PP you lose it.

Yep. I've been shedding like crazy.  So tired of sweeping up hair.

  • Yup, I started shedding 3 weeks ago, which is about 13 weeks PP.
  • I'm losing all sorts of hair everywhere. I feel like I'm turning into one of those Egyptian sphynx cats.

  • Yes it stinks, I especially hate when LO gets one wrapped around her little fingers. My hair is also completely different than 3 pregnancies ago. I used to be able to wear it curly or straight, but now it's not curly or straight... It's just dry and blah.

  • Completely normal. Hair loss occurs PP because of drops in hormone levels, usually. I didn't start shedding out until 3 months PP but I also attribute it to the change in seasons. Excessive hair loss (by your standards) should be talked over with your doctor just in case something is wrong.
