Holey moley, they really are too cute! I'm going to have to take better pics of DS tomorrow. He was not in the picture-taking mood this evening.

On a semi-related note, a kid dressed as Batman just came to my door. The odd part was that he was with two grown men, one dressed as Superman and the other as Spiderman. I don't know that I've ever met a man who would dress up with their kids for Halloween.

@secretagentkate, it's a goodmama fitted. It's a little loose right now, but after it's washed it'll fit better. It just arrived today, so perfect timing.,

We don't post pics of A on the Internet,but she was a blue macaw. I made a feathered headband with green and blue feathers (and a random unthematic purple feather) and a yellow shirt, then sewed a blue boa onto the back of the shirt and down her arms, then colored a black beak on her nose and a few black and white feathers around her eyes.

My daughter was a pirate for Halloween. She kept saying she wanted to be a "pirate princess" so we let her choose her costume, of course she chose the pink one.

I honestly wish I was crafty enough to make costumes! My crafty limit is crocheting and even then half the time I don't ever finish what I start lol. So cute!

@bookitup I was an elementary special ed teacher for kids with autism for 9 years. When I go back, I'm thinking about just going regular ed. I have super love for my kiddos on the spectrum, but I know that now that I have DS I won't have the time and energy it takes to create the individualized lessons and curriculum accommodations that I did before. I know regular ed isn't a cake walk, though. Ideally, I'll finally publish a social skills curriculum or mystery novel, strike it rich, and be a WAHM. lol  What do you teach?
