Another late intro...

Hi Ladies!  I'm Jess, a FTM from South Florida.  I've been lurking for a while and feel a little late with my intro (my job entails sitting at a desk writing all day, so the Bump has been my reading break.  But I finally have some 2nd trimester energy (yay!) so I am excited to start joining the conversations).  You all seem fantastic, and I'm excited to be part of the BMB.

My due date is April 29, so I'm now 14w2d.  I did the Panorama test and found out a few weeks ago that we are having a boy.  My husband and I just celebrated our second wedding anniversary last week, so we are looking forward to having a family.

Oh - and today I wore that skeleton t-shirt to work like many of you, except most people didn't know I was pregnant (not showing yet).  People's reactions have been HILARIOUS!  It's either been looking at the shirt and a light bulb goes off/mouth drops, or a long, curious look, followed by hesitation and uncomfortably asking if the shirt meant anything.

Congrats. I love the shirt idea! I work in a medical office, and you can see the patients staring thinking "Is she pregnant, or just fatter than the last time I was here". Welcome to the board.

Welcome! And I love skeleton shirt reactions. I just told my mom that way yesterday, told her to check out my "awesome Halloween shirt." She said it was nice that I bought something for myself, so I said "Don't you get it?" "It's a baby." "Yeah..." "Are you pregnant?" "((Innocent smile))" It's a lot of fun! Welcome to the board!
