Bah Humbug.

This year I am going to be "that house" with it's lights off. No candy here. It's too painful seeing other people's absolutely adorable kids paraded to my front door. In years past, I've dressed up our dog as a sheriff which the kids absolutely love. And even though it was painful, I did find some fun in it. But this year it just feels pathetic. :( I just can't stomach it tonight. I think DH and I are going to leave the house for dinner or something just so we don't even have to hear the doorbell ring over and over. I want November to be here already.

Is anyone else skipping Halloween this year?

Halloween is usually "safe" for me since we live in a condo building and don't get trick or treaters. I will admit that I'm already dreading Thanksgiving/Christmas though. It seems like every year I tell myself, "Maybe next year will be the year that we'll have a little one to celebrate with". Not so much. No desire to be merry & bright over here. Now I'm the Scrooge! ;)

It's twin girls!! Born on 11-2-14!

Hugs Liz!  I am skipping it too.  I will be at the gym and then straight out for dinner.  I guess it's a "tradition" that I'm not ready to give up.  I think Halloween is dumb anyway (there's my UO for the day)
