How are our babies TWO?!

I took DS's 2 year pictures today and I still cannot believe he is about to be two. This is just crazy! We have a party planned for Sunday, which is his actual birthday. How and when are you ladies celebrating?

I can't believe they're (almost) 2 either! This 2nd year has gone by so much faster than the first. It still doesn't feel like that long ago that we were celebrating 1st birthdays.

We're throwing DD a Purple Princess (Sophia the First) Party the first weekend in December. DD is obsessed with Sophia the First but I didn't know if "Sophia the First" would be confusing for people who don't know the show when talking about Rosalie's 2nd birthday. IDK, maybe I'm over thinking it but we're just calling it a Purple Princess Party right now and then we're gonna have some Sophia decorations (plates/napkins/etc). We're moving into our new house next week so we wanted to have enough time to unpack and get the house put together before having a party.

I need to take DD's 2 year pics soon too but she's been so uncooperative lately. I haven't even been able to catch a good pic of her in her Halloween costume yet.

I know. I feel like we JUST did the whole birthday thing! I've never seen Sofia the First but I've seen things for it at the store. I can see where you would be worried though. Purple princess is a good idea
And these pictures were by far the hardest ones I've taken of DS. Luckily I took them at a huge city park here in SoCal which has a ton of places to run around and take breaks. It probably took me 3 or 4 hours to get all of them. It was frustrating!

It is crazy to think I have a two year old!

DD's birthday is Novmber 23rd, so we are having a small family + a few friends party at MIL's house, butterfly themed.

Ah, they are growing up too fast! DS's brithday is on the 7th, but we will have his party this Sunday. Any farther out, and we'd run into other family birthdays and Thanksgiving. Our theme is construction for the party.

DS1 turned 2 on Oct 10.  I can't believe it.  We just had a small luncheon with both grandparents and he got spoiled with lots of presents from them.

I can't believe how fast 2 years has gone!  DD's birthday party is on the 9th (her actual b-day).  It will just be a small party at the house with some family and a few friends.

Aw I love seeing all of the pictures of the babies (or I guess not babies anymore). I have had some trouble posting from the mobile site while working, but I still try to keep an eye on the board.

DD will be having a fairy party since she is into all things fairy at the moment. It will be close friends and family and the neighborhood kids all packed into our house, but it should be fun.

Your little man is always so adorable! I can't believe our babies are turning 2!

We're just having a small-ish party the day after his birthday. No real theme just balloons & streamers. Probably just doing a hot dog bar, cake & ice cream.

I love the pictures of your little guy!

DD's birthday isn't for another two weeks yet (Nov. 21) but I can't believe she is almost 2! Since her birthday is on a weeknight we are going to have a small family dinner and a cake and then the following Saturday we are taking her to Disneyland! I decided to skip a party this year since last year I was so focused on throwing the perfect party that I was so stressed out I didn't enjoy it at all and with her birthday always being so close to Thanksgiving it's extra hard.

Jealous! I want to take DS to Disneyland so bad but it's just not in the budget right now. It's so tempting though because we only live about an hour and a half away from Disneyland. Have lots of fun!!!

I'm commenting on this because I finally got around to taking DD's 2nd birthday pics. 

Also, we had her birthday party this past Saturday (Dec.7). It was Sophia the First themed. We had 10 people RSVP but only 2 showed up so that was pretty disappointing. It was still pretty fun though. I had a "decorate your own tiara" craft table with sick on jewels and stick on foam shapes. The girls LOVED it, and so did the moms.  DD thought it was funny to stick the jewels on me. I was a good sport and kept them on for the whole party.

Aww, Rosebud. I'm sorry you had a low turn out. It's very disappointing for a child, but I'm glad it was a good time.
