My baby is formula fed. I started out trying to breastfeed but my supply was horrible and I had to start supplementing in the first week. I was producing so little milk that it just wasn't worth it to try and keep going so at six weeks we went all formula.
I am really surprised to see how many women are EBF. With all the posts about BF issues I didn't expect the number to be so high. That's great! At the end of the day though, you are all great mommies, whether you are BF or FF.
I'm not at all surprised but in a few months it will change, and certainly by 6 mo it will change. But if you ask in a year there will still be a good number of people who are BFing.
I am mostly BFing and gave up dairy and soy because of LO reflux. He still has terrible reflux. I am afraid they are going to have to put him on the expensive formula in order for him to get relief. I will do whatever it takes to have my son comfortable, but I have tried so hard to get my supply where it is now I would hate to have it all be for nothing.
