@mcgeeva - didn't you have your anatomy scan yesterday? You're not team green are you? How did your scan go? Did you find out the gender? I've been dying for this update!!

I did! I have to say I have not been a happy lady. Cried all the way to work, all the way home and all the way to work this morning. We are having another boy. As greatful and happy I am I have a healthy baby I am so upset it's a boy because it's our last. I wanted so bad to sew dresses an bows, take a daughter shopping for dresses for dances, plan weddings etc. Make up for all my mother didn't do wit me and now I feel I'll never have that. I hate feeling guilty considering I went through treatments to get pregnant. Just hoping this will pass. I love this little bundle I just wish I didn't feel something was missing. So we decided regardless if my doc said to tie my tubes and even though we can not afford more treatments I will just wait and see why happens and not make this so final. Does this all sound crazy?!!!!

No it doesn't sound crazy. Congrats on a healthy baby! Think of all the positives, your LO's will be born around the same time and you will save TONS on clothing. Little boys LOVE thier mama's. I know it's not the same, but your brother has a daughter right - a neglected one if I remember correctly, but that's another post. You can always do fun things with her.

Lol yes that is true! She is turning 1 and ever so tiny! I'll get over it an count my blessings!

Congrats on a healthy baby. I know you really wanted a girl, but your boys are going to have so much fun together. They are going to be the best of friends and fill your house with love and laughter and mud. Hugs.
And sorry for butting in. I'm nosy like that.

I'm butting in too . At 16w, we were told B/G at an unplanned u/s. I was thrilled. I felt like I could feel good about being done after the pregnancy. At 20w, we were told B/B. I was happy to have two healthy babies, but a part of me was a bit sad. I felt horrible for even the tiniest bit of disappointment. But, the thing is- I was still thrilled for my little boys- I was just mourning the loss of my little girl. I had already envisioned her and we'd even started talking names.

I came from a family of all girls and knew nothing about boys. I've never been camping or even played organized sports. I hate sweating! I danced and played dress up and figured I'd be a royal mess with boys.I'll be honest- I think I might feel better about being done if they had been B/G, but I now think there's no better combo than B/B. They are ridiculously fun and I'm loving it. And, boys LOVE their moms. We aren't 100% on having more children (I say yes, DH says probably not), but I figure ill just have to make up for it with some awesome DILs! I figure I'll get the benefit of daughters without the dramatic teen years!!

ETA: Oh, and am I wrong or are you a Sha.dy Gro.ve grad? I am too! As much as I hated IF, I'd almost want to cycle again since I LOVED my office and RE!! They are so amazing .

Ruthie04 great story! I think I will be just as over the moon too. My husband and I saw a commercial last night of two little boys and we just laughed. This will be out life! I'm feeling much better about things today. I'm glad you had such an amazing experience with your two little boys. I know they will be the best of friends. I hope we hit the lottery one day to afford another baby which we can't after treatments for these two. Yep absolutely love love shady grove!!! Which office did you come from? I've used the same doctor both times dr greenhouse!

I went to Fair Oaks and was with Dr. Greenho.use too! I love that man. He really went above and beyond for me and ended up having the nurses call him specifically with my weekend results so that he could be the one to review things. He just really seems to care .

Wow that Is so crazy?!! What a small world! How old are your boys now?

I know- SO small! They are 13 months now, but we were patients from 12/2010 to 4/2012.

Nice! Yeah I only went the two cycles I got pregnant because I went to two doctors before shady that did nothing for me. But I've known shady grove for years since I donated eggs to the same family twice which is when I found out I had issues.
