Hello! Did any of you have SCH?

I am 6weeks 4days with twins. I have been experiencing very heavy bleeding for 3 weeks. I was diagnosed with two SCH's today. I am nervous. I already love these little babies so much!! From what I googled, things can go bad quickly??
I am waiting to hear back from RE.

I had an SCH. Mine was not diagnosed until my 12 week N/T scan. I only had one bleeding episode, which was at 17 weeks and at that time was also DX with a partial previa so it could've been that causing it, they weren't sure.

Many of us on this board have had them though and I know many people have had a lot of bleeding with them.

I believe bed rest is reccomended to help with the bleeding? You may want to ask your RE about restrictions when they call you back.

No experience with sch had other issues but just wanted to say good luck and hang in there. Definitely write on the high risk board I go here a lot for answers to my questions and they are super helpful!

Not me, but a friend with twins (from a FET) had a SCH that resulted in heavy bleeding through most of first tri. I don't know exactly when she was diagnosed, but it must have been right around 6/7 weeks because the bleeding is what prompted her first u/s. It seems like a lot of MoMs have a similar story.

My bleeding was in 2nd tri and the result of previa, but I know how terrifying it can be. Many hugs and well wishes coming your way!!

I had an SCH around 11 weeks with my b/g twins. Scared the crap out of me!! I woke up covered in blood one day. I spotted for about 3 weeks. My babies are fine, healthy, born at 35w6d. Fx for a boring remainder of your pregnancy!

I had a large SCH that bled fairly heavily from 9 weeks until about 21 weeks.  Honestly, I was nervous most of my pregnancy, but everything turned out fine.  

My OB put me on pelvic rest and told me to drink lots of water (dehydration can cause uterine muscles to contract, which can aggravate bleeding).

I had a big bleed from SCH at 14 weeks with my twins... Bled/spotted til about 20 weeks. My gorgeous boys are now 7 months old and perfect! There can be complications depending on where the SCH is I believe, but many turn out just fine! Good luck, and beware of Dr. Google
