1. How many weeks?
2. Any updates? A/S? Etc?
3. How did you stay sane during your 2IF journey?
4. what one item will you get this time which you didn’t have last time?
Re: **2IF Grad Check-in**
2. No updates. Just taking it easy until my appt next week
3. I don't think I was sane. I was such an emotional wreck. But, the 2IF board helped tremendously.
4. I have no idea! It's been so long since I've had baby items, so I'm actually just excited to start all over and experience the baby stage again. I'm excited to use everything!!
TTC #1 4/2009 - DD 2/5/10
TTC #2 since October 2011
2IF issues
I'm 14 weeks, and so happy to be in the 2nd trimester. Less worrying, less nausea, feeling more human. It's so much more fun to be pregnant when you don't feel awful physically. But I'm still thankful to have all the unpleasant symptoms since they help reassure me everything is good!
Honestly, I didn't find anything to help me stay sane. The more I distanced myself, the better it was, but that was almost impossible to do. I was a mess for a long time.
It's been 8 years since I was pregnant with DS, so I'm looking forward to some new purchases! DH and I were looking at video monitors a couple of weeks ago, and I'm excited at how portable and advanced they are now. I had a big old clunky one 8 years ago and it was AWESOME. No more worrying about waking up the baby by opening the door to see if he's awake. I could just spy on him to my heart's content! When I woke up during the night, I could glance at the monitor and know he was sleeping and all was well. I had a regular audio monitor at first but it didn't work right, so I exchanged it for the video version. I literally used it until it broke, when DS was about 3 years old. I loved it. So although it's something I already had, the new versions are far fancier and I'm looking forward to getting one! MJC, I don't have any recommendations since my original one broke (after a lot of use, in it's defense), and I can't remember the brand anyways. Let me know if you hear great reviews on any of them.
