I don't put on either in our house. I think DS1 has seen Barney at school but has never asked for it at home.

Caillou. DD hasn't discovered Barney yet, though, so I reserve the right to change my mind when that happens.

Off topic, but has anyone else had problems with TB today? I couldn't do a poll or a new discussion. It says I'm "not allowed to do that." I keep getting logged out too.

The sugary-sweet Barney kids are the most annoying part of that show. But Barney does get points back for the "I love you, you love me" song. It's my bedtime song with DD and it's so stinkin' cute when she sings it.

ETA: We don't actually watch Barney that often. I knew the song from when my sister was a kid. It also gets nostalgia points for me.

Ds doesn't watch either but I've seen both and Caillou is by far waaaaayyy worse than Barney.

I survived the Teletubbies with my first-born. Nothing can get to me after going through that.

Back then we only had two televisions in the house and only one with cable & the VCR. I really wanted to watch NASCAR - I told him that Laa-Laa drove the yellow race car so he would watch the race instead of asking to watch the Tubbies. He fell for it and it actually worked for about a year. We watched Laa-Laa driver her car every Sunday afternoon & I threatened horrid punishments to any of our friends who told him otherwise.
