Do-over morning

We were at a birthday party yesterday-over an hour away, and we came home late. Reese slept in the car, but woke up the same time this morning as normal--and after breakfast, she was just miserable. We were going to go out to breakfast---but we barely made it down the street without having to turn around. She was having meltdown after meltdown--about everything.

We enacted mandatory rest time! We put her back in her crib for about 45 minutes and had her "rest".

When I got her out, she was in a MUCH better mood-back to her normal self.

But dammit, I wanted breakfast!

It's Sunday....do brunch! Breakfast with mimosas! Or bloody Mary's....

I was actually thinking that---but since her getting up she has two things of french toast sticks, a mini bagel with butter, and a pumpkin muffin. Someone will be full  

DH took the chance to do yard work outside.

No breakfast out=yardwork
