Cough

Any suggestions for a persistent wet cough? We are going on 2 weeks and have done steam showers, Vicks, humidifier and nothing helps . Last night DS literally slept for 2 hrs. I feel like he's had a cold forever ! All suggestions welcome !!!

    I hate to say it but I think it's just time.

    DS has had a persisting cough for 3 weeks at this point. We've taken him to be checked out and DH even asked again when DS got his flu shot this past week. We were told to wait it out if it isn't getting worse.

    I will say that it is getting better - it's just taking it's sweet time to leave!

    Yes - unfortunate I have been there. The first time it was two weeks and then it left. The second time around it was for 3 weeks. I would just watch baby. Especially if she starts wheezing or having trouble breathing. What kind of humidifier do you use? I have found that the "cool mist" works the best in my opinion. We sleep with on every night.
