My mom is driving out for the day Bc Dh is working today. Again. He worked all week plus Fri night, Sat morning, now all day Sun. ::grumble::

My sister and her 2 boys are coming too, so we may go to a pumpkin patch or something.

I'm tired. And cranky.

My mom is coming over and we are all going to the zoo! Hopefully she will stay for the rest of the day so I can get a nap in o and we have a fancy pants charity event tonight that I get to dress up for

We're just hanging out and watching football today. DD also comes back from Vegas today. I can't wait to see what she brought me. She said she had a surprise.

Raining here today. Our power is currently out which is the worst with a toddler.

DH took the toddler to get Starbucks and baby is sleeping.

We have church and then a Halloween carnival thing put on by little gym this afternoon.

Hope it stops raining and power comes back on soon.

DH has been working all weekend too. It sucks because DD has been sick and all the (many, many) MOTN wake-ups/screamfests have been on me. It's been almost a week on antibiotics but this kid still. will not. sleep.

Yesterday we did the children's theater, the toy store (her request) and the mall. Today we're making a pilgrimage to Trader Joe's. Survival mode here.

Already worked out, did laundry, took out the garbage, showered, bathed the baby, and made breakfast. I am accomplished for the day. DH works until 5 today. There is a little Halloween party at daycare from 1-3, so we will do that, then just stay home tonight and make some dinner

Yesterday was exhausting (it was my Uncle's memorial service, then we went to scatter his ashes in the Gulf), so today we're just relaxing at my parent's place. It's raining, chilly and my mom is making pancakes.

 I'm meeting a friend for lunch, then it'll be movies and mom-food alllll day.

We were out and about for most of yesterday, so today is just laundry and cleaning (and football). Oh and a quick Target run.

Not much on the agenda for us today. I did all of my running around yesterday. It was nice to get out and run a bunch of errands without having to wrestle DS in and out of the carseat/stroller/shopping cart.

Today was my day to sleep in, which was glorious. I was going to take the dog for a run while DS is napping, but DH left to run some errands, and by the time he gets back, I'm sure DS will up, so I may just do 30DS or something. Its a beautiful, breezy fall day here though!

Going to a pumpkin patch with the IL and making a pot roast in the crockpot. Hopefully a relaxing day.

My MIL invited herself to the Halloween party at daycare. I know it is not a big deal, but she is so attention seeking, and I have mommy friends there and DS is going to play with the kids, so why? And she posted on fb that it is mil day....is that even a thing? Do all the gifts I give you on Mother's Day not count?

Just boil some water, pour it on the grounds in a glass container, swirl it well, let it brew, eventually let it settle and gently decant it off. You'll lose a bit at the bottom, but a few grounds ain't gonna kill you.

You also can filter through a couple layers of paper towels.

We had a do-over morning.

Reese got up same time--but went to bed later than usual. We were going to go out for breakfast---but she was just miserable and cranky. We turned the car around and she had mandatory rest time for about 45 minutes. I got her from the crib and she was in a MUCH better mood. Even though she didn't sleep....she was back to normal. 

DH did yard work--while we played. We did run out to return things to Michaels and to get her a winter coat. 

Now she passed out at nap time and we are watching football with a fire going in the fireplace. 

I love relaxing Sundays.

I washed my phone in the washing machine, and it's sitting in rice now, but I'm pretty sure it can't be resuscitated. So I'm mostly pouting and thinking about going to the AT&T store. Womp womp.

In other news, DS has his first word, and it is "uh-oh."

Gotcha. When we do the corn beef in the crock pot--we layer the bottom with sliced red potatoes. If it is mashed potatoes---we definitely use yellow.

Our dryer broke Friday. It's only 2 years old. Later that day our microwave broke. Last month our dishwasher broke and a few weeks ago my coffee maker.

I forgot I am allergic to hay. Halloween party had a big pile of hay for the kids to dig through, I guess toys were hidden inside. I can't breathe!
