I know you are wanting to help and are just excited to share your good news, but I think most of us have experienced all of these symptoms in the 2WW with no success. Shoot, I'm a crampy, tired, gassy mess right now, but I'm not preggers one day after IUI.
That being said, congrats, and have a H&H 9 months.
Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!! Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545 -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
Beep! Beep! Nice drive by. First tri or PAIF would be the place for you. And I agree with PP, I know you're just excited and trying to "help" but I agree, if you had done more than one IUI you would realize these are all the same symptoms many get on progesterone so it's actually not helpful.
If you had been here longer getting and giving support you'd know to PUT A WARNING in your title so those having a bad IF day don't open your BFP post. As I thought this was going to be someone looking for answers that I could give advice to. Not someone giving unsolicited advice.
Congrats?!?! Your title was misleading. While you may provide me with a little hope being this is going to be my first IUI... a little heads up would have been nice as I am feeling very down today. That being said, best of luck to you.

Hmm sounds like the symptoms I had after my first two (failed) IUIs. There's plenty of info about early preg symptoms on the web...trust me...we've all read about and obsessed over them. Your post was ignorant and selfish...even if unintentionally so. Most of the ladies here are past their first IUI and are well aware of everything you said; you'd know that if you bothered to read a few other posts. No good luck from me, you obviously don't need it.

@brittanyandadam that was a bit harsh granted I was taken aback a bit reading the title and the post wasn't what I was expecting but that was rude! We are all going through the same thing wether it's our 1st iui or our 20th IVF and we should all be supportive of one another. Ever hear of Karma well she's a bitch!
@carebearcustis I truly am happy for you but before posting you may want to think and proceed with caution. I am sure you rubbing anything in our faces but all those symptoms you listed we all know so very well and they come with BFP and BFN and I you've been trying for 20 some months you would now this.
@shcr- brittanyandadam's post wasn't a flaggable offense. The flag is not a "dislike" button. You can get rid of that flag by hitting the love it on the post you flagged.
Agreed - no need to report that post...I think you confused it with a dislike button. Maybe the post was a bit snarky in your opinion, but technically I think this board is just less snarky than many of the other boards on TB. People are much more straight forward and what some may see as harsh on the TTC board - but that's partly b/c they see a lot more drive by posts like this one.
And btw, @lindsayhilleary what's QFP? I've seen it a few times, but I can't figure it out! :P
Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!! Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545 -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
I did not mean to be snarky, I wanted to be honest; and what I said did come across as defensive. However, I'm not apologizing. It's not fair to anyone here to see that. If someone wants congratulations and attention, they should go to their family and friends. This is a supportive environment and that post was by no means supportive.

Your replies have been anything but supportive. Sorry I posted anything, and am grimly reminded why I don't post very often and just read others'. Will not be posting again. Good luck to you all.
@shcr I apologize and was not trying to rub anything in anyone's face. I'm very sorry if I offended anyone with my good news. And thank you for at least being civil and constructive in your advice. Good luck to you.
I do think her post was offensive flag was appropriate people like that should have their mouths sewed shut!!! I have found a few ladies on here who have been so nice and helpful but honestly I'm really starting to hate it here!
What gives anyone the right to be rude "no good luck from me you obviously don't need it" of course she does just cause she got a BFP her first go around doesn't mean she's in the clear it's still so early for her and too early for her to be going to her family and friends for support so where else is she to turn!
I was forewarned about these boards, how rude and inconsiderate some women could be but I have it a chance and well F this. Good luck to you all if you deserve it!
@Shcr you've been well-supported around here, so I'm not sure what your dramatic response is about. We get plenty of hope from our grads - women who have shared, supported others, and are known to us. Why should we care about a random person who hasn't supported us...?
Furthermore, her post is full of nonsense that will only serve to get someone's hopes up. Her symptoms were from the increased progesterone, not the pregnancy.
I agree it was also flaggable. I am very excited for your BFP! A lot of women seem to be supportive when they need it, but harsh when it's not their positive. Blessings to you and your LO!!!

It's not enough for you to spew your bullshit all over TTGP? Why are you here? I get excited for BFPs from ladies I know. Meanwhile, what support have either of you ever given...?
