Clothes on incision

I am 9 weeks PP. My incision is healed but I can still not wear anything that rubs up against it. It irritates the incision. I can't wear my jeans or yoga pants that hit right where my incision is. I can't wear my maternity jeans either because the place where the jeans attach to the stretchy material hits right on that that line. How long did it take you before you could put those kinds of clothes on?

  • I had to wear maternity jeans for the first few weeks. Then I could wear regular jeans (up a size) but no low rise jeans for a long time. They just hit me wrong. Go shopping and look at new/different style pants. Even though I lost the baby weight, things shifted and my old styles just didn't work anymore.

  • 3 weeks.. That's unusual. I was back at the gym by week 6.

This is what I was thinking I would have to do.

Thank you all for your feedback!
  • Thank you!! I may have to try that!!
  • I would put a maxi pad over my incision to give myself extra protection and comfort from my clothes rubbing. It helped a lot! I also had larger panties so the pad would be held in place and I wore my maternity pants. For me I didn't care so long as I was comfortable lol.
