Old fashioned Pregnancy tests

Thought this was interesting - we should all be thankful we live in such an advanced time period :)

Me: 27 DH: 33
Married 6 years
Conceived DS after 4 years of MFI

TTC # 2 (not trying,not preventing ever)
May 2013 - August 2013 Timed Intercourse = BFN
September 2013 Timed Intercourse, Weekly Acupuncture, Herbs=BFN
October 2013 Timed Intercourse, Weekly Acupuncture, Herbs, and "warming foods" = BFP
Beta #1 19, Beta #2 18 Progesterone 4.6 Miscarried 11/9/13
November 2013 - Benched, waiting for first post-loss AF.
No longer benched per New RE/OB!
Jan. 15 2014 - BFP. HCG 3900 - Ectopic :( 
Jan. 16 2014 Left tube removed and D&C
March 2, 2014 First AF

    I can hardly eat an onion much less put it up my vagina. HA

    I actually can't stop laughing at it.  How could you even sleep with an onion in you?  I think I could get behind the peeing on barley and wheat, if they could get that done nicely and i'm not just peeing in the yard, but they got like a bathroom/pot kit, where it isn't messy and is easy to purchase. haha

    Well I was going to suggest that everyone in the 2WW draw straws for who should test the onion one but it looks like this isn't such an onion-friendly group...

    No no wait.. I think you are on to something here.  That would be a great board experiment.  Sadly I am not in the 2WW so I am out.

    It's a pretty terrible suggestion for someone in the 2WW...don't know what I was thinking there.  One of the perks of a short LP I guess is that I will be in the clear within the next 24 hours or so. :)  And actually we're out of onions.  DH told me that last night.  So I'm liking my chances here.  Now for a way to draw straws virtually...

    Agreed.  And if someone has to get a yeast infection to entertain us and keep us sane, then so be it!

    That was very entertaining! Pretty awesome that the wheat and barley actually works! Some of those are super weird. Oh, but I was going to say, the one about being able to tell if a woman is KU through her urine...I can kind of see that. When I am KU, my urine and general smell down there is much stronger than usual. Does this happen to anyone else?


    BFP #1 ended in MMC. Discovered Oct 2005 @10w5d, baby stopped growing around 6w. D&C.
    BFP#2 Nov 2005. Baby's heart stopped @ 8w3d. D&C Jan 2006. Trisomy 18
    BFP#3 Nov 2006. My "miracle baby" DD born 7/25/07
    BFP #4 11/6/12. EDD 7/16/13~my birthday! No sac found @ 5w1d, betas not increasing. Natural m/c started 11/20/12.

    BFP#5 11/9/13.  EDD 7/21/14  Our beautiful rainbow born on his due date!!

    @KC1212 lol. Well it could just be me!!! This also happens to me the closer I get to my period so I think it just has to do with my hormones. Your new nickname can be pee sniffer ;)
