Everyone says that the few few days, perhaps weeks, of bringing a new baby home is exhausting and stressful. You are sleep deprived, easy meals are best, etc. However, one of the many unique things about adoption is you don't always know when that moment is going to arrive. Sure, some of us have showers and stock up on the basic baby essentials to bring baby home and get through the first night, but what non-baby things should we stock up on?
For example: I've typed all of our family addresses into a label document so that hubby can just print it out and stick on the envelopes for announcements. I figure writing all of the addresses out will be a difficult task once baby is home. (We have a big family).
I can't really freeze meals, they could be in there awhile LOL.
