not many symptoms....

Hi! I am almost 6weeks along- so this is very new to me! I found out right away that I was pregnant at 4 weeks. Is it normal to have not many symptoms? Last week I felt a little bit tired and my boobs were sore. This week, I feel nothing! My boobs don't hurt anymore, not sickness, nothing. I'm freaking out! I know I probably shouldn't be complaining about not having any symptoms, but I can't help but worry.

  • I feel the same way I am 5w5d and I have very little symptoms but I saw my OB yesterday and she said that's totally normal. Some ppl are lucky and we are the lucky ones. But we are really early so maybe it hasn't his us yet. Good luck to you!!

  • My sister in law had no symptoms at all. She went 4 months not knowing she was pregnant. She told me she didn't have any cravings either besides chocolate covered strawberries at 2am. Hell, I wish I didn't have any symptoms. This sore breasts and fatigue is kicking my ass. And now carrots tastes like pickles and eggs make me gag and have nausea the rest of the day :(

With #1 I had no symptoms, seriously, best pregnancy ever until I had complications at the end. This time around I was nauseated starting at 4 weeks, couldn't eat, smell of food made me nauseated. Doctor gave me nausea meds. I was taking them every day up until 8w0d then my nausea went away. Just this morning my mom commented that she hoped everything was okay, I've been trying to eat as much as I can because I just had a feeling it was only temporary...and low and behold as I sit here eating a bagel I almost lost it all. Guess I'm back on the nausea wagon.

I guess what I'm saying is, just because you have no adverse symptoms doesn't mean something is wrong, just because you have them doesn't mean something is wrong, and just because you have them and they go away doesn't mean something is wrong. There are no guarantees, you could get them and lose them, never get them, lose them and they come back, get them later on. It's crazy lol. Enjoy being able to eat and get the nutrition your baby needs :-)

  • I feel the same way. I was worried until I started reading posts here. I feel like someways I'm pregnant and some days I'm not, except my pants don't fit. I don't have my appointment until Monday so I still worry.

  • Mine come and go, but it's pretty much just fatigue and occasional boob tenderness.  Last time, I felt more stretching in my uterus and my boobs were more sore.  Idk, it is what it is!  I am not complaining, just hoping this is a real pregnancy.

  • Ya know, the only real symptom I have is my boobs and a couple of aversions.

Be grateful. It's normal and something to be happy about haha

On the flip side, you are 6 weeks and sometimes things can creep up later. Not to burst the happiness bubble, but just a heads up.

    Congrats on being pregnant!

  • I was so worried before and did not feel pregnant at all. I had no symptoms excpet for some cramps and sore boobs. And then last week I started getting sick and just puked my breakfast out this morning. Now I feel more pregnant but I don't know what I prefer... not sick but not feeling pregnant? Or gagging constantly at work and feeling pregnant?
  • @shayna616 Be happy you have no symptoms.. I can't even hold down water. I'll GLADLY trade places w/ you.
  • @shayna616 be careful what you wish for!  lol I had no symptoms other than some boob soreness up to around 6 weeks 3 days and then bam it hit, I've been nauseated 24/7 ever since it hit and it seems to be getting worse every day.

I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.

  • I feel great except my prenatals make my stomach flip. My sister keeps saying it'll hit any day. I'm just greatful for these good days. I'm 7w2d
  • I've been having very few symptoms as well...  just breasts that are like barely tender (not even sore) and some cramps.  I've definitely heart of people not getting hit with symptoms until like week 8 or 9.

  • I feel the same way. I am 8 1/2 weeks. I've had the fatigue and sore breasts. Not much else. Runny nose which I read was normal. Glad I'm lucky enough to not get "morning sickness".
  • Few symptoms here. Tired, slight nauseous feeling once in awhile but not all the time. No sore breasts. Little bloat. I'm 6 weeks 1 day

  • I've only been totally exhausted and sore boobs. I was also getting a little worried that this wasn't normal after hearing so many horror stories about first trimester symptoms!
  • In going on 8 weeks and besides being tired and occasional mild nausea... Nothing. Hope it lasts!!!
  • I am 5w with no symptoms- aside from an occasional cramp and not being able to sleep in :-/
  • I've heard it goes up and down, I'm experiencing the same right now too.
  • I never had many if any symptoms with any of my kids... maybe a few queasy moments here and there, and ready for bed a bit earlier, but overall nothing.  I've had 2 healthy babies from no symptom pregnancies, and am hoping to be lucky enough to make that 3.

Everyones different, not everyone is as sick as a dog with sore boobs and narcolepsy, just be happy you're not one of those poor ladies.

  • Right with you. 6 w 1d and found out right at 4w. Nothing! A little tired, but no sickness. After reading these I'm glad we are just lucky!
  • Right there with you. 6 weeks - I was queasy and my boobs hurt a few days ago, but everything is gone now.

I am pretty convinced it means I'm having another miscarriage since this was exactly what happened in April with my first m/c. BUT for most people, it can be absolutely normal! I'm sure you're fine. :)

  • Come on guys really? It's okay for someone to post about their symptoms, you may think it's too repetitive, so simply don't comment, she's asking for support. That's what this message board is for. Not to make fun of people, sure it's just having fun, but if it was me it would bother me when I'm asking a legitimate question.
  • I have times like this as well. One minute I'm whining to my husband about how sick/tired/sore I feel and then when I have an asymptomatic day, I freak out! This is my second pregnancy and symptoms are coming a little faster but with my first, I did not feel much at all until 8 weeks which is really normal.
