My mom is visiting for the weekend - yay! Tonight the girls have swim class and then we'll go out for dinner somewhere. Tomorrow, we're going to a pumpkin patch. I'm not sure what else we'll do.
This weekend is going to be no fun.. We'll have the neighbor come babysit while we sand and repaint our eaves to our house. We started last week, got about 1/8 of what we needed done, and it was miserable! I am, however, to cheap to pay someone else to do it for us.
I am married to a Red Sox fan. so I will be watching baseball (well, not really, but he will be parked in front of the TV).
tonight we are having a stay at home date night - thai food, wine and our favorite TVs (Grimm starts!)
I too am married to a Bostonian...glued to the tv and cell phone (he and his bros and uncle text during the game since they are all over the country). Enjoy your date!

SO is going out of town for several days for his hunting trip. I am way more excited about this than I should be but I'm so glad to have the house to myself with DS. My sister flaked on watching DS tonight so I could do a dinner date with a girlfriend, but oh well.
Tomorrow, run a 15K and take DS to a pumpkin/halloween festival and have a pumpkin carving competition with my family that night.
Tomorrow we have friends coming from out of town that I am super excited to see! It is a childhood friend that lives 1500 miles away! We'll be headed over to spend the day at the hotel pool! So fun! Then Sunday we are going to go to our little town's octoberfest. This day can't end soon enough!!
DS has a packed social calendar this weekend so I'm spending it shuttling him around! Tomorrow morning is his preschool Halloween party and costume parade. In the afternoon his aunt, uncle, and cousins want to take him to a pumpkin patch (we're all going but it's really for him), and Sunday he had a birthday party for a neighbor.
Friday night is always movie night with DS. DS wants to try skating lessons again so we are going to open skate with DS' BFF and her parents then they are coming over for dinner tomorrow. Sunday our town does a halloween event on main street so DS and I going to that.
Today were going to a haunted house and then maybe out for drinks afterward Saturday were taking DS to a local fall festival Sunday hanging out with DH before he starts his new night job.
Tonight movie and a few glasses of wine. Tomorrow professional pics of DD outside in our cute little town. Tomorrow night Halloween party. Sunday last minute household things to prepare for DH coming home next week from a 9 month deployment!
Heading about 3 hours north for my BFF's daughter's baptism today! Very excited. We're Jewish, so DS (2.5) has been telling everyone he has seen all week that you don't say Shabbat Shalom in church, but you still have to sit still and be a good listener.
Re: Weekend plans?
Saturday - Halloween costume party. I will be Edward Scissorhands
Sunday - recovering; watching horror movies and eating greasy food I'm sure.
Maybe some pumpkin picking tomorrow. Out with friends tomorrow night.
Sunday- relax- hopefully it's not a two day hang over ;-)
We are actually going away next weekend without the kids for my bday. This weekend didn't work out, but that's okay :-)
