My kid beat up another kid at the library today

He usually really enjoys storytime, but today he was throwing a tantrum because he didn't want to go in the storytime room. I looked over and there was another 2 year old on his hands and knees, and my kid was hitting him on the back, kicking him in the stomach, and trying to jump on his fingers. Holy crap. I made sure the kid wasn't seriously injured and that he found his way to his mom, and then snatched my kid and left the library. I cried all the way home. I hate that he can get to me, but we've been having a particularly hard week and I feel like I have no control over him. Thank goodness we have behavioral therapy this afternoon, I can't wait to run this by his therapist. We've definitely struggled with hitting and pushing, but he's never attacked anyone like this before.

That's a tough situation, but it's not your fault and it sounds like you did the right thing. I hope his therapist has a plan of action that you can work on together.
