So here's a funny story and a photo to apologize. The photo is of DS and the dog on two different days. They're both looking at me on the bathroom floor. DS tries to cheer me up, the dog worries about who will feed him if I die. The similarity cracked me up.

The story:
It's trash day and I threw out DS's tunnel. It's been well loved and was falling apart. The trash guy hauls our can over to the grabber (short, dead end, narrow road) and flips the lid and allows the truck to lift it.

I was out front with the dog when he flipped the lid on ours. The damn tunnel popped out at him like one of those prank snakes in the fake but cans.

He fell over.

My apology was ruined with laughing.

I owe him a good Christmas bonus.
