Anyone else's kid?? (PIP)

She's super upset that I made her use her fingers to paint since brushes are MIA in the move. Every time a speck of paint goes anywhere she loudly exclaims "MOOOOOOM PAINT DROP!" And keeps insisting I wash out her tray for new "clean" paint. Anyone else's kid hate mess?

Also she wants to clap to show how excited she is about her pumpkin but makes me clean her hands first so paint doesn't fly off.

Damn.  No.  My kids are super messy.  I kind of wish they wanted to be clean, even a little bit.

Betsy definitely went through a phase where she hated her hands being dirty.  She would just screech "Hands! Hands! Hands!" over and over until I cleaned them.  It was a part of her OCD phase that I think most toddlers go through.

DS doesn't like his hands to be sticky but could care less about dirty.

Oh God my DS would be beside himself. He's constantly wiping his hands and nose and refuses to fingerpaint.

DS thinks I can make his hands clean simply by wiping them with mine.

It's nice that I'm still magical.

My kid is super clean.

She was gagging this morning on her breakfast and coughed it up--then she apologized for it and wanted to clean it.

She hates being dirty, making a mess, eating with her fingers anything like that. If she spills water on herself she starts to panic/meltdown.

The bonus is she has no problem ever cleaning up her toys.

Too cute! LO doesn't like it when her hands get messy so she will have me wipe them offwhile she is ffinger painting or eating finger foods

I can relate. My DD gets upset when she gets dirty and starts crying for a napkin or paper towel. She begs to change clothes as soon as they get dirty or wet. It's borderline ridiculous. I'm afraid I passed along my OCD tendencies.
