I graduated!

Well, sort of. I am released to my OB (woohoo!) except that they do the first tri screening at my RE. I think they are doing the materni-tri 21, but I'm their first patient. So hopefully they figure out what is going on and call me back soon. It was sort of a weird situation.
But it was so awesome to see little deuce in there dancing around like crazy. Everything looks great, and deuce is measuring right on track. Happy day!

Eta: oh yeah. So he said something about me having had a funky thyroid reading at some point in my testing there, and that I new to have it checked every 2 months during my pregnancy. Any thoughts?

Yay! Thyroids can be funny during pregnancy. I got hypothyroidism at 34 weeks sometimes after hormones settle down pp thyroide levels return to normal, sometimes they don't. Mine did not. I take Synthroid to treat it. One pill every morning, no biggie. It's safe while pregnant too.

ETA-if you need Synthroid, your dose will increase as your pregnancy progresses and then decrease pp. darn hormones!

I have hashimoto's disease so my thyroid meds changed every 2 months during pregnancy. Don't let it slip. I've had it since I was 21 but thyroid disease was a "factor" in my unexplained infertility.

@ducky719 I'm starting to feel a little better. I still hate food and am still losing weight, but I'm not as nauseous. Otherwise I feel like a totally normal person!

Congrats TJ! Did they tell you what your TSH was at? TSH alone doesn't show the whole picture, it would be good to also check T3 & T4. In my experience OBs don't monitor thyroid issues very well & if your levels are higher than 3/4 I would see an endocrinologist. My two cents

Thanks @rosehq12 and @mg0202. These are questions I didn't even know to ask. It just seemed so odd the way he mentioned it as if this were something I knew about and dealt with last pregnancy. But I swear I never even knew I had an off result at any time. If this was an old test result, why didn't we monitor this when I was pg with E? I was still so elated by my dancing deuce I couldn't think of all the questions to ask!
