Re: UO

  • I love having public confrontations with people. If you're fucking up, I'm gonna call you on it, and IDGAF who's watching.

Aholes on my street LOVE to park on the sidewalk. I fully tap on their window and and tell them that THAT (pointing to the street) is for their damn car, and THIS (the sidewalk) is for my baby and I. I also tell people to CTFD when they're getting all huffy in a line up. I even yelled at a friggin idiot with a baby on a bike sans helmet. Like WTF is wrong with people?

I'm so sick of the self-centred behaviour I see every day. Some people absolutely HAVE to be told, and I'm happy to be the one to do it. I know it's rude, but I look at it as a public service. If more people did it, people might become warier of behaving like idiots.

My H is totally embarrassed by me, and he's always like "A, please don't..." but he knows it's no use. I have a calling.

I have a problem keeping my moutn shut in public. My SO is shy so he hates it, but i don't care.

  • Quick run through:
I didn't understand the attraction to Benedict Cumberbatch, until I watched Sherlock. The attitude and the voice make him better looking.
Secondly, I didn't know that driving for better candy was a new trend. People in my town have been doing it since I was a kid. It makes me sad that I'm in a newer, incomplete subdivision and nobody comes to my neighborhood. It's seriously a ghost town.
I think a lot of towns are now doing harvest festivals at churches for Halloween instead if trick-or-treating. It's much safer and, to be honest, I don't trust the world we're living in anymore to have my kid go door to door. It's very sad.
My UO: I'm still pissed that all of my students know every damn detail about Kimye, but had no idea about any of the violence in schools that has been happening lately. What's worst was that most of them weren't shocked to hear that a teacher was killed with a box cutter. I realize news is "depressing", but it wouldn't hurt young people to visit cnn.com every once in awhile and get caught up on what's happening in the world.

I need to take lessons from you on how to speak up! I hate confrontation, not because I don't want to, but because I'm petrified of any backlash!

In Arizona there are so many gun crazies that I'd be afraid I'd get shot and killed for speaking up. Can I stereotype that people in Toronto are much more civilized.
