  • I used this picture last year but it's my favorite! My niece, Laila, drew this picture for baby Gary for his funeral. She was almost three. We keep it framed and displayed in our office. I love how happy it feels.

  • This picture was given to me days after losing our little girl. I loved thinking that she was being held, since I could no longer hold her.

  • This piece was actually created by @Petunia844 it is so special to me and knowing that it was created by a follow loss mom makes it even more special. It is hanging on the wall across from our bed, it is the first thing I see when I get up and the last thing I see before going to bed.

  • I created a shadow box that contains memorabilia from my pregnancy with Ava. It hangs next to my bed and I see her every morning and every night. It makes me sad and comforted.

  • The first is a beautiful piece of "art" that my dad made. He made me a special wooden box to keep Mary's things in. We had so many keepsakes and her hospital things that deserved a special home. The bottom photo is some of the wonderful drawings that Mary's cousins made for her. They are so special to us.

  • Day 24. Artwork:

I made this after we lost Domenik. Making it was so therapeutic for me. It gave me a lot of time to just paint and think about him. I hung it in my bedroom and I built a shelf where I keep his urn, and some of his other things and pictures. I like waking up and seeing him. I like having him close so I can talk to him whenever I need or want to. It's comforting! :)

I also have a painting that was made by the children in my class for Domenik before he passed. Yesterday we made another one, and my co-teacher Trish told me to take it home for my future rainbow baby!

(The top is the painting I made, and the bottom is the painting from my class for our future rainbow!)

  • Day 24: Artwork:

I created a Prayer Flag for August 19th Day of Hope for Brooke. I also created a picture collage that is hanging up in our living room. A good friend created a DVD of Brooke's pictures for me and put it to music. I love watching it since it shows how she grew even in her short life.
