6w2d US no fetal pole? UPDATE!

Hi all
I had an us today and measured 6w2d, but dr could only see yolk sac and no fetal pole or hb. She said she's not worried and the yolk sac is a good sign and to come back in a week, but I can't help but be a nervous wreck! Has this happened to anyone else?
UPDATE:
had another us today and saw the heart beating away at 155! I feel so RELIEVED! I have been a worthless ball of anxiety this past week! Thank you all for your reassurances!

Yes that's still early perfectly normal. Yolk sacs are good to see, the heart should start beating any day now.

Eta I didn't see the hb last preg until after 7 weeks

That makes me feel a ton better! Of course I immediately started searching dr google and freaked myself out even more lol

Is there a reason you had it so early? Just curious as I don't think I would want to get one bc of the things I would be worried about.

After my confirmation appt at about 5 weeks she had me schedule 2 weeks out and they scheduled a couple of days sooner than 2 full weeks...I wish they would've waited until 8 weeks bc I'm going to be thinking about it nonstop until next week

I don't understand why some dr's do them so early because it will freak you out. The only reason I had one was because I had spotting and cramping he just wanted to see that it was in my uterus. This time I'm waiting, them again I have no spotting anymore.

I think I was 6w3d and I was still not able to see the fetal pole. But that turned out to be a perfectly normal pregnancy!

I had an u/s at 6w and all you could see was an empty sac.  I was a nervous wreck during that one week wait between appointments but sure enough, we saw a blob and a heartbeat at the next appointment.  6 weeks is still really early in a pregnancy so try not to stress about it.  I know, easier said than done.  Fingers crossed for you.

This is my first post, because I was in limbo after my first u/s at 6 weeks. I have a 4-year old daughter, and with this pregnancy, it took us over 2 years of trying! My ob recommended an ultrasound at 6 weeks, and we only saw an empty gestational sac! I just went in yesterday at 7 weeks, and--there it was! Little baby with heart beating/flickering.

I have a tilted uterus which makes visibility limited even with a vaginal ultrasound.

Good luck! I know it's nerve-wracking.

it was exactly the same for me 2 days ago!! I should have been 6w1d or 6w2d and they measured me at 5w5d with a yolk sac, but no fetal pole. I have been freaking out, but everyone i've talked to said its normal and that it was just too early!

I am never, ever getting a scan done this early again. Too stressful.

I had my us at the beginning of my 7 wks and all I could see was the sac but my doctor said everything looked good, she said had we done a vaginal ultrasound I would've seen the heartbeat but I didn't want that type just yet.

This is me too. I know it's early and probably fine, but I'm a nervous wreck! My dr is totally not worried and is just giving me an ultrasound on the first to ease my mind. I will be super anxious until then!!
