When I'm tired, burnt toast is comforting.

I don't know why but I like dry, burnt toast when I'm so tired I want to die. Also, I started reading the new Divergent book yesterday. I haven't gotten very far into it but it's a little difficult to transition to this writing perspective from the other books. I think that I'll eventually like it better but change is hard for me.

I will randomly get up at night and make pancakes. DH will come in for some b/c the smell wakes him up lol.

I thought the potential carcinogens came from charcoal grills and not from the burnt food itself.

I like when the toast is cold and the butter doesn't melt, and i have a nice cup of hot tea and the tea melts the butter when i take a sip.

I like stale garlic bread. I always leave a piece out when I make it and eat it in the morning. I also like my pancakes slightly gooey and uncooked in the middle, with lots of butter, and just a splash of syrup.

It looks like the levels of acrylamide in food are pretty low compared to the amount that is known to be carcinogenic. I don't think I would stress out about eating a few marshmallows or toast.

I once got a log of the soft goat cheese and ate the whole thing myself on crackers, the olive oil and black pepper triscuits. It was fucking delicious.

I cannot handle anything burnt on my food. My mom used to grill my stuff on tin foil so it wouldn't get the burn marks. DH refuses to do this for me so I just pick it off.

I leave my marshmallows in the fire for about .2 seconds so they are barely tan.

Goat cheese is the shit.
