Vents? Whines? Updates...?

Well how is everyone? (((HUGS)))) to those who need them and FX for those cycling or 2wwing :-)

I start off with a whine ;-)

So because I had a HCG booster after my transfer I promised DH no POAS this time around, and its driving me nuts! I am 5dp5dt and besides a few twinges have felt fine, normal, and I really am not sure about going into beta without SOME idea of what is going on. Boo!

Rooting for you Stinkerbell!! I posted on Vets yesterday that I'm going to try DE again. This time at RBA using frozen eggs. My consult is tomorrow....maybe the 3rd times the charm? Or glutton for punishment?

OMG OMG!!! This makes me so happy!!! and I hope this is it! Keep us posted :-)

P.s. Well if your a glutton for punishment, then so am I! lol This is our third transfer and honestly no back up plan and no idea of what we will do if it is a BFN. SOOOO I am going to say third times a charm for both of us ;-)

Update: I spoke with our ovum donation coordinator yesterday requesting to secure a donor. FX our potential donor is available!

AFM: got my hysterscopy date set for nov 5th and beta numbers are going down finally I go tomorrow for what I hope is my last blood test of this horrific cycle. Please go to zero! Fx

Little whine from me.... I couldn't sleep last night so for the first time ever I went in the guest room and slept on that bed (which I might add is sooo comfy) and DH woke up in middle of night freaked out... Found me and then proceeds to get mad because I wasn't sleeping with him. He thinks he's comming down with a cold and I don't want it.... But he is still mad at me today and texting me that he's pissed. I think he's having a pms moment today. He leaves in three days for a boys trip to AZ and I can't wait to have to house to myself for a whole week. I know that's bad lol

afm: just waiting and twiddling my thumbs until our medical consult with me, mh, gc, and gch (gestantional carrier's husband) and a RE that only comes 4 days/month.

that was a hard appointment to schedule!

we are set for november 5th. fx that we can get started on medical clearance.

@BeckyP005 , what else can I say but I'm SUPER DUPER excited that you have an estimated transfer date!!!  December will be here before you know it and I have everything crossed that this cycle will be very successful!!

@strudel82 , glad to hear you're in 3rd tri already...wow that went quick!  And boo to your mom and MIL for not understanding...WTH?

AFM, my biggest vent is that I haven't gotten my period yet and it's been over a month since my last period, which was post-BFN from DE FET.  I'm supposed to go back to the RE with my November period, but if AF doesn't show in the next week or two I may just give them a call.  I'm still hoping to cycle in January and don't want to be delayed b/c all of a sudden my period doesn't want to show up on a normal schedule.

Mrs. McIrish - have I seen you on an RBA thread at another board? I thought I recognized your name. My consult with RBA is in November. 

Strudel - You are such a great person for offering an amazing gift! 

Becky - that is awesome that you are cycling after 2.5 years, fingers crossed. 

Seems like lots of you are in exciting times. I'd like to whine about playing the waiting game. I have go hurry up and wait for the consult and then wont be able to transfer until next year due to holiday shut down.

Yes, you "know" me from the RBA under Tulley(one of my cats). No idea why I changed my name over there last year but too late now! I stopped posting on TB after we stopped trying in Feb but I'm a really old timer over here!

They want me to do a beta on Friday 7dp5dt and then Monday 10dp5dt, and yeah....If it weren't for the false positive risk I's POAS tonight! lol.

Oh that's awesome! I know 7dp5dt sounds scary right!!! They had me do mine 6dp5dt and that was so scary to me!! Oh fx for you!!!! Ill hold my breath for you until Friday!!!!

Sorry, I am on my way out the door-but did want to comment here first.  First of all, I am thinking of everyone here and wish everyone all the best.  Some ladies here I have known for years, some just since this board has been created......but I know that everyone here deserves to be a Mom, and I just wish that it wasn't so hard for so many!!!

I'm thankful for the technology and REs that have been able to help so many ladies.  But, I'm also ANGRY that there are no guarantees.  After all the heartaches and expense that our journey through (yes, I intentionally used through because I hope that if we keep going we can obtain our hearts desires or peace with a different outcome) IF, we should all be able to have take home babies.  It breaks my heart to see good people giving up, because of $$$, age, lack of will to continue the fight.  I could go on and on, but guess that I just want to say that I want success for everyone-and I hope that the challenges of this journey will fade into the past.  Wishing everyone easy cycles that result in sticky BFPs!!

AFM: I had my final lining check this morning and it's a 10, triple stripe. YAY! So now I'm just waiting for my RE to review my labs & ultrasound so I'll be given a definite time and date for ET.

Thanks, but unfortunately I just found out that my e2 dropped from 484 last week to 263 today. Now I have to go for another lining check on Monday and ET won't be until that weekend or the 6th at the earliest. (

Lacy- I this time flies by for you and you can move forward with your FET early in the new year.

AFM: our wtf went well. We have 2 frozen day 6 blasts. One is an expanded B and the other is an early A. Our RE was not concerned about them being frozen on day 6. He emphasized that they were still thriving and of very good quality and felt we had a 50% chance given the quality and recent improvements in freezing techniques.

We discussed bloodwork, and he felt that this was not contributing to the embryos not implanting. He felt that if we were having early losses it would be appropriate to do bloodwork, but given there was no implantation, didnt recommend it. He agreed to do it if I wanted, but I ultimately decided against it given he doesn't think it's a factor.
I did have a hysteroscopy, which fortunately revealed a normal uterus. Endometrial bx results will be in next week.

We are going forward with our FET with my next cycle. Transfer late nov/early dec.... Hoping for a Christmas miracle. Preparing for our next steps.
