We just started Cycle/Month 12. Two CPs (both right before 6 weeks) in that time. One in cycle 7 and one in cycle 11.

#1 was 2 cycles of HIO EOD

TTC #2 I am on my 2nd cycle but last cycle I didn't ovulate and I don't know if I will this cycle either, so we haven't really had a chance to get pregnant this time yet.

Thanks to all you wonderful ladies for sharing :-) I especially appreciated it that so many shared how long they had been trying and are still trying, I forgot to mention that in the discussion. Many miscarries, which breaks my heart to read, I admire your strength. Miscarriage runs in my family as well. My prayers and appreciation are with all you Lovelies! BFP #1 - I wasn't paying good attention the first time around, somewhere between 3-5 months/cycles without tracking, just random HIO. DS born 6/16/11

BFP#2 - 2nd cycle trying, but ended in CP a week later.

BFP#3 - Technically still working on Baby #2, on our 4th cycle now total

We concieved on the first month of really "trying" (which consisted of thinking that ovulation would be 2 weeks from my period and having lots of sex around that time.. oh so naive) but after a month of not trying but not avoiding. We're on cycle #3 with this one- temping, OPK's and checking CM. Because we waited so long to try for a second, we're doing everything in our power to make it happen as quickly as possible so the age gap isn't too far. We thought we were going to be one and done until this summer.

Only 2 cycles for DD and the first cycle didn't really count, because my thyroid was out of whack then. Now TFAS, we are on cycle #5 and counting.

It only took us 2 months to conceive baby #1. We didn't prevent 1 month just for fun and actively tried the 2nd (purchased OPK and timed accordingly). I know that is definitely not the "norm", but the women in our family are extremely fertile, so I chalk it up to that lol. I wish I could share that blessing with others who need it! We are actively trying to conceive #2, just waiting for testing time now...

Did I miss something? Why are you taking clomid after 8 months of trying?
If you're taking clomid this cycle, then why are you using OPKs?

Wishing you success with Clomid, I hope it works for you. It must be hard actively trying around the time you expect to O, then waiting and it doesn't happen :-( Wishing you the best dear, and thanks for sharing some of your story with me!

With DS it took 4 cycles. With pregnancy number 2 we had a surprise BFP the month before we were officially going to start TTC. This will be our first cycle TTCAL.

Very first month with DS1... I think it gave us a false sense of how this "baby making thing" works. We're currently on month 6 of trying for #2.

4 months of trying (Temping, CM) DH says 2 months of that didn't count but I still say 4. We ended up pg with #1 & #2. We haven't started TTC #3 as I'm currently doing physio for my back so that needs to be sorted out first.

@megs2011 I had surgery in March, with 6 months of physical therapy following, so that held off our TTC plans as well. It's frustrating, but important to strengthen the body for baby! Wishing you a positive result quickly when you start TTC.

Two and half years, approximately 30 months. I lost count. We are NTNP for #2 now-ish.

For #1 we were NTNP for a year, got a BFP the cycle before I was going to start temping. For #2 got a BFP on the 3rd cycle after taking the Mirena out.
