I had a dating u/s today, because I knew I was a week behind the date they gave me since I ovulated a week late. There was a gestational sac and yolk sac, but no fetal pole. I haven't had any bad signs but somehow I knew something like this would be happening :( The midwife said the sac is measuring 5w5d, and based on my ovulation date I would be 6 weeks exactly today. So there is still hope. She said she really had nothing she could tell me, and that it could go either way. So please pray for me... I have another scan in 12 days

    That's only a difference of two days - try not to worry about this, if you can.  I know it can be tough.

    When did you O?  How many days post O did you get a positive?  Were you temping, so do you know exactly when you O'd?

    I o'd on sept. 23. Got my positive 8dpo on October 1st. *edit yes I was temping. I had a significant drop that day, and it was the last day I had ewcm

    Those seem so close, and it is right about that time that the heart starts beating, so you just might have had the u/s a day or 2 early.  Fingers crossed for your next u/s!

    Me: 27, DH: 29*** TTC since November 2011 *** Dx with PCOS in September 2012 
    ***September 2012: IUI #1 = BFN*** 
     ***October 2012: IUI #2 = cancelled due to not responding to meds ***
     ***February 2013: IUI #3 - BFN ***
     *** April 2013: Gonal-f, HCG Trigger and TI = BFN*** 
     ***May/June 2013: TAKING A BREAK.***
    ***July 2013: Gonal-f, Trigger and TI = BFN***

    Now I'm 8 weeks and have heard the babies heartbeat twice, it's even starting to look more like a little human (kind of tadpoleish haha)
