Well unfortunately the ultrasound today showed no heartbeat and the baby only measured 6 weeks instead of 8 (and I know when I O'ed so there's no mistake on dates).

So I'm now having my third missed miscarriage. I'm trying to decide between cytotec or d&c but I'm leaning towards cytotec. I've had two d&cs already, and it looks like I'll now need to pursue surgical options for my bicornuate uterus, so I'm thinking its good to limit the surgeries.

Anyway, it's been great to be a part of this board. Your support has really kept me sane these past fews weeks. I hope you all have healthy, happy pregnancies!

    Oh my god, mel.  I'm so sorry.  ((hugs)) 
    Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

    Ugh, so so sorry.  Was really hoping for better news for you today.  I have taken Cytotec and I would do it again.  Please just make sure your doctor also prescribes you pain medication, OTC stuff DOES NOT cut it.  Hang in there and take care of yourself.  We will miss you!

    Oh no!  I am so, so sorry for your loss.  I hope that you and your husband will be able to get some answers and I hope that you get your rainbow baby one day really soon.  Take care of yourself (((hugs))). 

     

    One thing about the cytotec:  I'm sure your doctor already told you this, but there is a chance that you will end up needing a d&c anyway.  Just something to think about.  I wish you peace with whatever you decide.

    I'm so sorry for your loss :( keep your head up I have had a pt deliver with a bicornuate uterus for some it just depends in which side implantation occurs... Take care!!
