Would you shower after the kids are asleep if you are home alone? Am I over thinking this? H is OOT, so I can't just wait for him.

i usually just bring the monitor in the bathroom and turn it all the way up if i'm going to shower while she's sleeping.

I take a shower everyday when she goes down for her morning nap. I also bring the monitor in and turn the volume all the way up.

Same here. I just take the monitor with me.

That's the only time I can, but I usually have to wait till morning because the bathroom is right next to her room with a connecting door and she usually wakes up if I take it at night, but not as likely if I take it in the morning.

ETA   H works nights so I'm always home alone with her at night.

With two kiddos, I take 5 minute showers. I don't worry about monitors. As soon as I'm out I open the bathroom door.

Either during AM nap time of when my h is home. Irrationally it seems less sketchy in the day, lol.
