Hi ladies, I live in Newport Beach! I moved here from Miami a couple years ago and just found out last week that we are pregnant! We are soooo happy but I would love to have a mommy support group! All the new friends I've made here are single or not having kids anytime soon, so I'd like to meet new mommies to share this experience with and eventually have play dates!

I am due in June too! We are so excited! How are you ladies feeling so far? I've been pretty lucky, not much appetite and a lot of gas lol but can't complain! Let's keep in touch

Congrats!!! We are really excited too. Is this your guy's first baby? I am feeling pretty good...so grateful that I didn't have horrible morning sickness. I am just really tired, but my second trimester starts tomorrow so hopefully I will get some energy

Hi guys!!! I just noticed this group and got really excited! I live in Newport Beach and am actually from Miami, Fl as well. I am a first time Mom and am due April 6th. We just found out that we are having a girl and I couldn't be more excited! I I have been wanting to find a mommy group so this sounds perfect!

Congrats!! I miss Miami so much, when did you move here? I have my first ultrasound tomorrow and I'm really nervous, I hope it goes well! We should all try and sign up for a prenatal yoga class together! Let's figure something out soon ladies

Had my 1st ultrasound today!! Saw the baby's heartbeat and the baby was wiggling around sooo cute!! Such an amazing experience!! I'm due June 5th let us know if it's a boy or girl, good luck Friday!!

Thanks! Sorry I just logged in....and the result is its a girl!!!! yay I am so excited...there are so many cute girl things. I am going to go broke haha...Awww isn't hearing the heartbeat such an amazing feeling. It makes it so so real

Hey!! Congrats on all the great news!! I am so excited to have a girl so I know how you feel!! There are a lot of 2nd hand stores around Newport that can help you not go too broke if you are OK with 2nd hand. 

I actually found a prenatal yoga class that is Mondays from 5:45-6:45pm and it's right off of 17th street and Irvine. It's $15 for one class and then cheaper if you buy additional. It says on the card I got, $15 - 1 class, $50 - 4 classes, or $60 - 6 classes. I am noticing as I am getting bigger by the day it is making me a little anxious so yoga would probably help me! LOL I definitely should start this pretty soon if anyone is interested!

Congrats!! A girl!! that yoga class looks great, I was gonna join one on Wednesdays at Granola Babies as well! Maybe I'll do both!

I'd love to join an OC 2014 moms-to-be group.  I'm due in April and have been scouring for groups, but none seem to be both legit and in-action.  I don't know about everyone else here, but I work a typical workweek, so all those weekday 10:30 AM preggo walking groups and such just don't work for me.   I'm a mover and a shaker though (now that I'm past the 1st trimester ills, anyway!) and I'm excited to join or help put together a group who wants to get together now and then for mom-to-be and eventually mom-for-real gatherings.  Happy baby-growing!

Hi everyone! Jumping in at 8wks since I just had my first U/S appointment and everything looks great! I live in NB and work in Tustin. My EDD is July 25th and it will be my first. I have an atypical work schedule where I work a lot of weekends, but then get Wed/Thurs as my weekend, so I'd be up for midweek prenatal yoga classes, etc. on these days!

NicoleB- what's the name of the yoga studio on 17th and Irvine? I'm going to try the one at Granola Babies later this month, but I'd like to try that one too since it's so much closer!

Hey rica819. The name of the yoga studio on 17th and Irvine is called Yoga Center of California. They have a groupon going on right now $25 for 10 classes. I just bought it and am going to try out the prenatal classes they offer on Mondays from 5:45-6:45. Hope that helps!

I am also going to do the free trial prenatal yoga class at Granola Babies this Wednesday, but it's a bit further from home for me, so I'm excited about this one in Costa Mesa!
I'm going to miss today and then I work next Monday, so I hope to start going sometime in mid February... see you ladies there hopefully!

Hi nsolla1279, YogaWorks and Harmony Wellness in Costa Mesa offer prenatal yoga. They both have smaller classes which makes it more of an intimate setting.
