The twins went on a double date Friday night

They both recently started "going out" with people.  Friday evening they wanted to go see "Carrie" and it turned into a double date when they invited their boyfriend/girlfriend to go with them.  I'm so not ready for this stage, but surprise it's here anyway.  I do like them going on dates together though because I'm more likely to hear what goes on that way.

SD has yet to bring anyone home. We never hear her talk about boys ever and she's absolutely stunning. DH thinks it's because of her good Catholic upbringing but I think it's more that she's embarrassed of us :-B

@LuckyDad I know they sat together because they complained about how annoying the other one was the whole time.  Payton has not kissed anyone yet.  And she would have told me if Camden was doing that in front of her.  haha

Haha.  Could be, but I trust them.  Payton totally wanted her brother there as a safety net, so I think she would have been upset if he had left her.

@kiraliz2 I'm positive she hasn't.  This is her first boyfriend.  And she seems pretty repulsed by the idea of kissing when I ask her about it. haha

@HilarityEnsued Yeah, I'm sure there will be things they keep from me, but I don't think she feels like she has to lie to me about that particular thing.  I wouldn't be mad.  DS told me when he had his first kiss.  It was a weird thing to hear from him, but I try not to freak because I want them to feel like they can tell me stuff like that.

@kiraliz2 Exactly!  I'm hoping they will come to me if/when they decide to take that step.  I also hope to stay in-tune with them enough to know the signs are there.  Ain't nobody got time for teenage parenting.  TYVM

@MrsSkull The key for me so far has been to not freak out no matter what the question is.  My son has asked me questions about masterbation!  Yes, I'm totally serious.  At first, I was like "wouldn't you rather ask your dad about this"  To which re replied a definite "NO!"  So, I answer the best I can.  I don't want to know my son is doing that, but sticking my head in the sand doesn't make it not so.
