Yep a lot of headaches. I got them before pregnancy though. Sometimes it's hard to tell if its sinuses or something else. I too am having my thyroid checked. I also had a sinus infection for 6 weeks that took two rounds of antibiotics. I hope we can all get better and or figure them out!
Yes, I hit the 15 week mark last Friday and I had a day and night long headache yesterday and woke up with it today. A fix for every single one of my headaches has been getting adjusted by a chiropractor. I go to an awesome one ( just so happen to be related to him and work for him as well) I'm telling you, an adjustment can make a great deal of improvement.
By far the migranes I have been getting have been my worst preggo symptom! it's really the only thing I complain about. I spoke to my Dr. about it and then one thing he suggested that I have found to help is keeping my blood sugar even and steady. I am NOT diabetic but pregnancy messes with mom's blood sugar. If I wait too long to eat something...forget about it.. headache for days!
I was also too scared to take Tylenol, but I just started trying a combo of Tylenol and a very small cup of coffee with caffeine and believe it or not it works very well.
I hope this works for you all as much as it has for me.. these headaches can be debilitating and we have too much baby prepping to do for all that!
I get them all the time now. The only thing that helps is coffee or a Coke. I don't even bother with Tylenol anymore. My first pregnancy my dr. gave me a prescription but I would not take it. I remember them being gone around the middle of my second trimester.
Yes! On day four of a headache now. Ugh! I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow, so I figured it was a common 2nd trimester symptom. Good luck to all of you ladies!
