General Q

Have you ever heard of a judge revoking joint legal custody bc one party claims they're being "verbally abused" by the other party? Not indicating any abuse to the child, just to the other parent.

Re: General Q

  • Never heard of that, doesn't mean that a judge can't do whatever he/she wants.  A more fitting solution I've heard is supervised exchanges and a third party correspondance for information exchanges.

I agree with all of this. If you're in a situation like this I would request to have all communication be through something like My Family Wizard, and have exchanges be at a public place like the police station.

  • Thanks ladies. I'm not remotely worried. I've heard crazier threats before, and the bark is way worse than the bite, really there's just a lot of bark, no actual bite. But anyway, was just curious. Thanks again!
