Have you ever heard of a judge revoking joint legal custody bc one party claims they're being "verbally abused" by the other party? Not indicating any abuse to the child, just to the other parent.

Never heard of that, doesn't mean that a judge can't do whatever he/she wants.  A more fitting solution I've heard is supervised exchanges and a third party correspondance for information exchanges.

I agree with all of this. If you're in a situation like this I would request to have all communication be through something like My Family Wizard, and have exchanges be at a public place like the police station.

Thanks ladies. I'm not remotely worried. I've heard crazier threats before, and the bark is way worse than the bite, really there's just a lot of bark, no actual bite. But anyway, was just curious. Thanks again!
