use hairspray! Bella got ahold of a pen and wrote all over her beautiful white pants, Ethan's pink shirt, and (the worst) our sofa. My MIL had just read that hairspray removes ink, so I tried it, and all the stains are gone, and nothing is ruined from the hairspray. It seriously came out with the slightest scrubbing with a toothbrush after spraying the hairspray.

Was your couch leather or fabric? I need to get ink marks out of my leather purse.

fabric. Sorry! I don't know if it works on leather or not. You could test it on something old that you don't use any more, or the inside of a belt.

Manners - I used it on fabric.  It seems like I used 409 on leather once, and it came out.  or maybe that was sheatrock?
