TTC baby #2-- period 4 days late and BFN??

I do not get what is going on! My baby is 11 months old, We started trying 3 months ago.  I stopped nursing at 5 months and got my first AF at 7 months post birth.  Sooooo my cycles have been kinda off.  But this month I am on day 31 and still no period, but still BFN.  I felt so nauseous and I don't know, I think I feel preggo but maybe it is my head because I want to be.  I keep testing every morning and it sucks! I just want AF or a BFP!

We have a 10 month old, so right behind you. I've yet to have two periods that were the same or two cycles that were the same length. Considering everything our bodies went through, it's no wonder that they're still not all the way back to normal. GL but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high if I were you.

Wait so you're late according to a textbook perfect 28 day cycle, which you just wrote that you don't have? How do you figure you're late?

I know you want us to defy the all-knowing pee stick and say you are "preggo", alas, we cannot. As much as it sucks to hear, our bodies do weird things sometimes. Especially while coming back to "normal" after giving birth to a child. PPs gave good advice to read the newbie post, lurk a bit, look into learning how to chart your cycle so that you know whether you are late and when you O, and good luck!

welllllll, not to sound rude here, but everyone said I wasnt (some of you in a very inconsiderate way), and I knew I was pregnant.  I could tell --- my mood, my boobs, late period.  and I was right.  So just because the test was negative 4 days past my missed period, a couple days later I got my positive.  and again and again.  Looks like I should just trust my body and not listen to strangers.  My bad for asking

Well aren't you a peach. You somehow expected us to see inside your ute to tell you what was going on, negative tests mean negative until you get a positive, what the fuck else were we supposed to tell you?

I just wanted to point out that sometimes we should trust our bodies rather than a cylce day number or whatever.   I am just stating that I thought this was supposed to be a supportive forum and there were a few ladies that gave helpful, honest advice in a nice way.  There were a couple that made me feel dumb.  again, I am sorry about my tone, I dont mean to rub it in anyones face.

Your post right before this one was so unnecessary and rude. Sorry we're not all perfectly in tune with our bodies as you are. Sorry we rely on the proven methods to know what is going on with our cycles and suggested you do the same; God forbid. You say we were rude but there was NO reason to come back with your BFP to tell a bunch of strangers, that you already pointed out so poignantly, unless you were in fact trying to rub it in our face. Move along now.

I've been TTC for over a year now, if I trusted my body and its random pregnancy-like symptoms, I'd be pregnant 15 times over now. You don't have a frigging clue, must be nice. Of course you meant to rub it in our faces, that was the whole point of your post: "I got my positive. and again and again. Looks like I should just trust my body and not listen to strangers." This is a big neener neener I told you so to us all. And just FYI, this is a supportive forum, to those who take the time to get to know others and GIVE support to GET support. You have done none of this, so you have no right to expect support of any kind.

You're right I have no clue, and I am sorry.  I haven't had to go through that and it was wrong of me to say that.  I am not sure how many times I have to say that I am sorry.  The reason I said again and again, is so that people didnt think I took one test and had a fluke and it was an evap line - I honestly did not intend for that to be a neener-neener.  Im sorry for my statements, it was the wrong thing to say.
