GTKY|PIP: You; one year ago!

It's almost time for all of our babies to be here! I keep thinking back to one year ago and how it's crazy all that has happened in a year. Exactly a year ago I went to Puerto Rico with Gian to meet his family and it was amazing. I loved every moment we were there. In December we got engaged, in February we found out we were going to have a baby and in March we got married. It's been a very amazing year. I'm hoping this time next year we can take Marlena to Puerto Rice to meet his family.

Love your story! And you hair you are right about that. So much has changed in a year! We for engaged Nov 1, married Jan 24, then pregnant a month later. We moved fast! And I'm so happy we did. Here's a couple pics of engagement and wedding. And I use to be super blonde too!

And here's me, my mom, sister, and goddaughter at my bridal shower which was a year ago (to the day) from my baby shower. How fun is that? PS: I can't wait to dye my hair back to that color after LO is here...I miss it so much! It's just a bitch to maintain.

ETA: I also miss self tanner. WOMP...soon...

DH and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary (well last weekend) so this time last year we were headed home to start our lives together!! What a nice way to remember and yet another reminder of how lucky I really am:)

We were married June 23rd after being together for 6 years, moved out of our crummy apartment and got our first dog! Here we are picking him out.

Omg I feel so old! You girls are so cute all just engaged and married! We have been together since high school and married 7 years;) Last sept/oct we were camping (costume night and my kids already ditched theirs but I was a drunk lady bug!)
Then our family photos in oct 2012. Can't wait to get them done as a party of five!!
Btw you are a bunch of damn hotties both pregs and prior!

We are super lame and hardly took pictures and now we take a few more. (I was never a camera person).

Anyway a year ago SO was officially moving in with me! I was two months into my first year of teaching and it was definitely challenging. Our lives are completely different now!

Last year, DS and I spent two months with my parents at my childhood home in NY. It was so nice to be in NY for the fall! We played outside all the time (I love the cooler weather) and DS loved going to Wegmans, pumpkin patches, the zoo, and the children's museum. DH and I had a wedding in September that we were both in and then one in November. The one in November was a weekend getaway, and it was so nice! Beautiful and relaxing. The only problem is that this year, I am super homesick for NY! West Texas just doesn't do fall the way the northeast does. I don't have pics of me or DH, but here are a few of DS (hopefully they work, I'm not good at posting pics).

I love this.. DH's birthday is tomorrow and one year ago we spent it on vacation at Disney World. I was hoping I was pregnant, but at the same time I wanted to be able to go on all the rides! It's funny looking at this picture.. My husband looks different in it. I don't have a baby belly. Was such a super fun trip though.. Most FUN vacation we have been on! Looking forward to bringing LO in a few years

This year has been a great one for us. In February I've got pregnant, in April took my US citizenship, in June moved into a newer and bigger house and now awaiting for our first LO and for my parents' arrival from Romania.
A year ago we were renting, got my teaching position and was doing Grad school.
What a wonderful year!!!!!!
It's neat after so many months to actually see pictures with us here!;) it feels more real;)
First pcs: we took my parents to visit NY, 2nd -last Christmas' dinner, 3rd -maternity pcs.

I take advantage of this post and THANK YOU all for your advices, support and knowledge in this wonderful adventure! Healthy and safe delivery to all!

P.S.: I talk about the Bump, Nov'13, every day;) =;

I'm so sorry about your loss.  It must be such a hard time for you. 

 

We have lots of newlyweds around here!   One year ago today, I was going through a rough patch with DD2.  She got an ear infection on her first birthday and refused to nurse.  We went from nursing 5 times a day to nothing, overnight.  She wouldn't eat anything, was underweight, and with the birthday milestone, I felt like I was loosing my baby!  It was a tough few days.  Looking back at it, it was certainly part of her personality--very independent and very stubburn!

One year ago hubby got his vasectomy reversed! Doc said it would take a year to get pregnant. Nope, it only took 3 months! Baby a year later crazy. Never posted pic before so I probably screwed it up. Sorry in advance!

A year ago we adopted Shelby, a corgi / German Shepard from my work and we went to Las Vegas for my 32nd birthday. Last year was a great year!

@libberduck-where in ny did you grow up? I'm a suburb south of buffalo and we LOVE Wegmans! Our family pics were taken in east aurora last oct;) WNY in fall is pretty amazing!

First few are from DD1's 2 year photos a year ago. She looks so tiny!! Last is me, DD1, my sister and niece at the pumpkin patch last year. It's funny how our families have grown so quickly. Now my sister has two girls (newest niece is almost 3 months) and we are on our way to two girls too.

I grew up in a small town south of Rochester! I seriously miss Wegmans - greatest grocery store ever. I would still be in the area if it weren't for DH's job. I think western NY has so much to offer and is the perfect combination of rural areas and urban cities. I never thought I would miss it as much as I do!

A year ago we were waiting to close on our dream house and bombarded daily with proof of funds and getting all paperwork sent to where it had to be. We ended up closing November 29th and this November we will get to bring LO home to the house : )

Not to be a creeper, but I'm from WNY too and had to comment that Wegmans is the best!!! Love the maternity parking, too. it is beautiful here nowadays!
