Need help deciding between Aavya / Avya and Aanya / Anya

I think either Avya or Anya would be lovely! Between the two, I'd probably go with Anya.

I'm not too familiar with Indian names, so I pulled up a list online, and here are a few I quite like (meaning in parenthesis):

We also like both Aanya or Aavya.

Only a one of a person I know mentioned that "Anya" can be bullied as "Onion". So we have tried to put an extra "A" in front.

What do you guys think about it ?

I work with a Rahkee(pronounced Rocky). She is really spunky so I vote that. Also I work with a Sirisha and a Radhika and they are so lovely and I really like their names.

I like Aanya/Anya, but with one A it looks more Russian than Indian to me. I'd go with the double A. Love PP's suggestions of Priya and Shefali. I also have a friend whose name is Indira, which I think is very pretty.
