anyone use pwhc in pocatello, and go to doc shelly?

I have my first prenatal appt on wednesday with dr. Shelleys nurse up at pwhc. Did anyone else use her? What should I expect at my first appt? I will be estimated 7wks 5 days.

I do! On my first visit I was about as far along as you. She talks to you, asks a bunch of questions about your habits (drinking, smoking, etc.) Then they weigh you, take your blood pressure, do a urine test, then they draw a blood sample to test for things that could harm the baby. (Hepatitis, HIV, etc.) They also give you a "welcome package" It has a lot of useful information and free stuff. I hope this is helpful!
