Let's do a recipe exchange for desserts. Anyone have a yummy dessert recipe to share?
I will dig up my recipe for Pumpkin Bars later and post it (sorry, I have to head out to work in a few so I can't do it now). They are absolutely delicious.
I was just thinking of this the other night. Making this a weekly post. A recipe exchange with a weekly theme so we can get new ideas. Kind of like WFD but gone a little further.
I'll come back and share a recipe later, I'm sitting waiting now for my new tattoo. (EEK!! Excited) But when I get home I'll share one.

I made these for Christmas last year and gave them to family as gifts (among other goodies). They were such a huge hit, people keep asking me if I'm going to bake them again. I totally will to because I want some for myself this time.
Prepare apple mixture and set aside-- about 12 apples peeled and sliced, 1 c sugar 2tsp cinnamon, if too liquids add flour. Best made with macs. Don't use gala apples! Tried before and it was a fail.
Dough-- 2-1/2c flour. 1/2 tsp salt, 1c shortening, mix together, beat 1 egg yolk (keep egg white) and enough milk to Make 3/4 c liquid. Add to flour mixture and mix well.
Divide dough into two sections. Roll one section out to fit 10 x 15 cookie sheet ( I do on wax paper to lift easier) let dough come over sides.
Crush 2 c of corn flakes or special K and put on bottom of raw crust.
Add apple mixture, roll out second section of dough and cover apples, close edges worth fork or pinch.
Beat egg white and brush on top.
Bake 350 deg for 35 min. Remove from oven.
Mix 1 c icing sugar 1tsp vanilla and enough water to make smooth. Brush on hot squares. Leave in pan
