2 month growth spirt?

Hi everyone!  I'm a FTM and my LO is a few days away from being 2 months old.  For the past few days he is either sleeping for long periods at a time or eating.  I've always heard that babies eat a lot and never sleep when they go through growth spirts so it makes me wonder what's going on.  Is he in a growth spirt or is he just a sleepy baby?  Does anyone else have a LO who sleeps all the time at 2 months?

My LO is turning 2 months next week and has been dramatically increasing his day sleeping lately.
