Aw: cat

Our cat is so needy that he is pretty much the center of the baby's floor world...  So of course we are working on saying cat.  She's going to be a cat for Halloween.  We have said "pet don't pull" about a million times.  So we were at the nature center the other day when we see the resident cat.  DD starts running (in the back-wrecking hands-over-head position) towards the cat yelling "cat" "cat."  For a second I thought it was the 2 year-old we were with, but then his mom says, "is she yelling 'cat?'"  Yes!  The nature center cat did not stick around to find out what DD likes to do to cats.

    Thats too cute.
    My Dd's first word was "ditty". Ds keeps crawling after the dog going "dig dig dig". I assume that is supposed to be dog.

    How would babies learn anything if it weren't for pets :)?  We have a puzzle with a dog on it and if I sing "dog dog dog" so will she...but then she gets lost and is like "dog dog ga ba baba"
