Update to 'Worried: TMI' post from yesterday

Doctor's office never called me back so by mid-afternoon I was starting to feel really run down and just took myself to L&D. I got a bag of fluids which helped a little. They checked my cervix and it's fort knox. They have no idea why I'm having digestive troubles so I'm guessing either a mild bug or something I ate that disagreed with me.

Baby Boots though, not one to be upstaged, got hiccups on the monitor for about 5 minutes straight. It was so cute. You could hear it clearly on the monitor and once we figured out what it was, I could feel little vibrations from the outside of my belly, but it's not something I would ever have noticed otherwise, so maybe he's had them before. Baby started getting frustrated by it I think because then he got really squirmy. DH video-taped some of it so we have the audio. You could also hear Baby's heart rate shoot up when I got the IV inserted too, I guess from the adrenaline.

Also, the resident that saw us was super hawt. He was talking and I wanted to interrupt him and say 'you know, not that long ago I was hot, skinny, blonde and much less puffy' *wink*. Of course I didn't but when he left I said to DH "You remember right, that not that long ago I was hot, skinny, blonde and much less puffy?' He said 'Yes and you will be again'. Good answer, DH!

Anyways when I got home I started having what I thought were mild contractions, there was pain and tightening like with BH. Or maybe it was just a bad combo of BH and stretchy pains, who knows. Either way, they're gone this morning. Maybe it was just stress related.

So glad all is okay! My DS used to get hiccups all the time and once I figured out what they were, I thought it was the coolest thing Also, bonus for a hot doctor - and that your DH had the right answer, haha.

Thanks for the update! Glad to hear that baby is doing well. My DS 1 used to get hiccups every night around 11 pm during the last month or so of my preg. with him. I loved it. That was a great answer by your DH.
