Suggestions for Midwife in Plainfield area

I really want a midwife vs. an OB for my pregnancy/delivery.  Any suggestions for CNM in the area?  Even if you don't have any recs I would love to discuss alternative birth plans from a traditional OB hospital birth.  Still REALLY early for me.  Let's talk!

    The practice, obstetrics midwifery and gynecology, omgwh.com, delivers out of hinsdale. I had a midwife deliver me through this practice as a vbac, and loved it. I live in joliet and the ride to hinsdale for appointments wasn't too bad. Good luck!

    I'm pregnant for the first time but I have been seeing Deb Riddel in Aurora for awhile now. I love her! Takes her time and really explains everything. She was recommended to me by a close friend who has been with her through 3 children.

    I've also been seeing Karen Barr at rush Copley in aurora for a while. Haven't delivered with her yet, but excited that rush has birthing tubs.

    My friend uses midwives and said Karen joyce and Isabelle at rush copley are great
