Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a 28 year old former first grade teacher looking for a long-term nanny position!
A little about me: I hold my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Psychology, so that I not only have a background in education, but child development as well. Last year I also completed my Master's degree in Teaching through the Arts from Lesley University in Cambridge. I have worked in early childhood classrooms for the past five years, and was most recently a first grade teacher in Newton. I decided to take a (much-needed) break from teaching, as I would now like to find a nice family to work for!
I additionally have years of babysitting experience, as I have watched a set of twin boys consistently since they were three months old, and are so grown up now at six years old! I am looking to nanny for an infant, as this is my favorite age to take care of! I am infant CPR certified and am very comfortable with feeding, changing, and all that has to do with a new baby.
I would consider myself to be kind, friendly, and easygoing. I love yoga, the beach, music, and Italian food! I grew up in Brighton and I love the city and all that it has to offer. I also have my own car, but live close to public transportation as well.
I consider caring for children a great responsibility, whether it be in the classroom or at home, and safety is always my first priority. If you are looking for a reliable and responsible nanny or know someone who may, please feel free to get in touch!
(I'd be happy to provide my contact information after chatting on this forum)
