I think that may be a popular opinion. I totally agree.

TyrannosaurusLex - Your post made me giggle out loud. Lol, I guess I assumed that with his name being in my siggy, it would just make sense, but I didn't count on those who mobile bump, or who just don't look at siggy's/know me from jack. I see where you are coming from, but no promises I'll be able to stop this annoying habit completely. 

iwubrory - I think it might be that because really that's all anyone in my family/little bubble talks about, I'm just so used to referring to him by name. Lol, yeah, I thought of me too when I read that, 'cause I know I'm the biggest offender on the board.

I've used this sn since middle school because I suck at remembering things. "kt" for Katie because I'm super original. And "arr" because my last name starts with an "R" and I thought I was clever because it sounded like "arggg" like a pirate. Basically, I was really cool in middle school.

Agreed. I remember the avatars way better. I always remembered chiawombat as the cute black and white dog, and not her name (I'd actually always forget it).... And megash as the puppy in a hoodie....those ones stand out because they're (adorable) animals. Yours does too but your nickname is easy to remember now

You may change your mind if your baby isn't a fan of carriers.  I thought I'd use carriers all the time, but my kid loves the stroller.  And she gets heavy super fast without a stroller.  I try to be considerate though and only take smaller strollers into tight spaces.

Yep, roller bag.  I would never ever check a bag if I didn't have to take enough stuff for DD sometimes now when I travel.  I've been to Europe in the winter for 10 days and taken a carry-on.  I hate worrying about lost luggage and standing around waiting at baggage claim.

I also travel for work and often have to change my flight at the last minute, which you can't do if you've checked a bag.  I will lug a bag around any day if it means I might be able to hop on an earlier flight and get to see my kid before she goes to bed that night

I would say I'm guilty, but I mixed up mine, H's and Winston's names (all the letter) and ended up with what looked like a real name...I just left it since it's not mine.

Because I'm watching Wheel of Fortune- I hate it when people buy vowels!! More often than not, you can figure out the friggin' puzzle without the vowel. "Gee, this word that says TH_ might be the but I just don't know. Better waste my money on the stupid E."

Except for the middle part, but when I looked, there are well over 1,000 of those in my state.

Yes to those except I don't think I have had nutritional yeast.

It sort of looks like fish food and it has a cheesy taste.  I like to put it on veggies or popcorn.  You can get it at Whole Foods, if you have one near you, in the bulk bins.

I don't think it's an UO, but it's a huge pet peeve of mine.

Grenadine is not cherry flavored.  Stop saying it is all of the people who say it!  Plus, it's only tasty when it's made from actual pomegranate juice, no the high fructose corn sugar stuff it is made from in the popular store bought versions.

I'm both of these things. My username doesnt include a portion of my last name anymore (now that I'm married), I created it back when I was frequenting the Knot for wedding planning. I don't have an avatar either....never thought about it before right now. I'll get on it!

@Tyr-Rex - Guilty guilty guilty! But I also admit that 95% of the time I'm on my phone.. Don't think avatars can be changed on phones... And there's a lot I haven't learned about being on a board like this By the time ladybug is born, maybe I'll have a clue!

@djtippietoes : I just recently had nutritional yeast - and ad it to lots of things! Love it! Recent favorite for fall is sprinkled on oven roasted veg like yams, broccoli, beets...

You have to send a PM to bumpjackie, I believe. Or some other bump god. 

Email community@thebump.com and explain that your name is a security issue and a mistake, and that you'd like to to be changed to ______ if it's available. 

They are super quick if they don't have to email you back and forth. Just give them the deets all in one and you're good to go. If you leave them to make one up for you, they may not bother for some time. 

Eta: changing your name won't change your post history or give you a blank slate.
