My child is asking to be spanked

Literally. He won't go to sleep and every time I go into his room, he bends over and says, "spank a bottom?" I don't think he really knows what it means because he's never been spanked.

I really hope he doesn't start doing this out in public. I will probably be shunned from my mom's group.

That's weird. He must have seen this somewhere on a show or something. I would just tell him that you will never do that because it hurts? IDK, kids man.

I would agree and just say we don't hit each other...kids pick up on the strangest things.

He doesn't go to daycare. I imagine he learned about it at preschool. I'll mention it to the teacher but I just kind of assumed he got the phrase from another kid.
